Lowe out for year per mario

I like Toure at LBer if the other team in 12 and/or it's short yardage. Against spread I dont. Think he's going to be BBQ chicken there when we play better and more experienced passers. Am big fan of him at end spelling Bain/Mes.

Hopefully Popo keeps making plays and convinces Hetherman to give him more snaps. Bonner getting healthy and snaps would be great development. Wiley getting ACC snaps would be cherry on top.

Less we see of Chase and Alderman, unless we're 99% sure they're running the ball the better IMO. I hope we never see Mo Toure & Chase as our two LBers again like we did for part of the series Bethune got the FG on.

I always thought Chase had speed pre injury. IiRC he was a S in HS. Haven’t focused on him enough. Is he slow out there?

Straight line he looks ok, but changing direction/recognition when he's dropping in coverage he's like molasses IMO

Bummer. He was one of my favorite commits from that Covid class. I had hoped this would be his year.

Why can’t we have nice things?

Just once… one time. A complete roster with depth. Young players making an impact. High end players healthy.

Coaches who are competent.

One time, all together at the same time.

All I ask. 🗣️ONE. ****. TIME!
This is the exact reason why we have so much depth at DE. If this had been one of the top DTs, then we'd be in trouble. We are fine.

I wish a speedy recovery for Haden.

From the few I know personally that watched practices, he was 5th DE. We will need him next year for sure. Blount, Lowe, Lightfoot, McConathy, Scroggins, Pickett, plus recruits/portal.

The good news is he got the entire Spring and Fall camps in before his injury. And per reports he was a grinder who put in the work. He should be ready to contribute or even be in the rotation come next season.

McConathy was wearing his jersey in street clothes Sunday on the sidelines. In the video of Miami running out through the smoke he was in shorts and Jersey walking out at the end. He didn't look to be limping, but obviously being held out for a reason.
