Lorenzo Lingard Jr. IS HEALTHY....

Enough with this coach dyck sucking narrative. He’s one of the toughest hardest working kids on the team. He’s exactly the type of kid who excels at picking up pass rushers.

If a tough smart hardworking kid like him can’t pass block then that’s an even bigger indictment on the coaches.
This "can he pass protect?" bull**** is part of the problem.

First, do we even know that he cant pass protect? Where is this assumption originating?

But most importantly, who tf cares if he cant pass protect!!!

It just illustrates the lack of imagination on our staffs part that they cant find away to utilize their 5 star running back bc he may be lacking one one area.

This is the same mentality that causes coaches to pass on a Lamar Jackson. Its the same mindset that pushes you to start Patchan over GR.

You think Cutcliffe, or Riley, or Yost, or Ruggerio, or Luongo would give a **** if their elite rb could pass protect?

Scheme around it for fux sake.

We never deserved guys like Cook, man. Manny displaying the same idiotic mentality Golden had. Wouldve kept a guy like Cook on the bench bc he fumbles or missed a block in the first fall camp or some dumb ****.

Burns look good. But we should be running an uptempo offense and be getting everyone carries. Enos doesnt play to our strengths and his *** needs to go.

The 20 touches that Burns got last night was the season high for touches by a player.
18 attempts, 48 yds, 2.7 YPC, 0 TD, 2 rec, 21 yds, 10.5 YPC, 1 TD

Logic says everything you are saying is true but according to some family members of players the coaches play favorites. The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.
This is probably the most accurate, the families are too close to the situation and the coaches aren't doing everything the right way. There is always two sides to every story and most the time when there is discourse there is wrong doing on both sides. I have no clue in this situation, but I also only have access to one side of the story.

You can play in FOUR games and still have the redshirt intact. Lo played in one game prior to tonight. Tonight made two games out of four that he would’ve been permitted to play in under the redshirt rules.
Maybe he isn’t right yet. Coaches are protecting him? Allow him to get back fully before tearing again? I don’t know, kid is still wearing brace right? Id rather not see a rb playing with a bulky brace.
If he’s a True cane, which by all accounts he is, come back fully healthy in spring and show out. It takes 2 full years to fully recover from ACL. Especially for a skill position type. Take your time.

You gotta admit that it is very questionable for them to play a walk on over sam brooks....

Lmao that knee looked healthy as **** when he was singlehandedly carrying a 300 pound, one legged offensive lineman off the field.

**** Manny Diaz
No he did not go back and watch that replay of him helping Campbell or (who ever the OL was) off the field....he is clearly limping! Just play attention you will see.

So let's put this to rest once and for all, Coach Brown was asked last year after the Savannah State game why Lo did't get any playing time against LSU, and in a throw away comment he said that Lorenzo needs to work on the little things like pass protection, which he had already rectified by Brown's comments below........

"UM freshman running back Lorenzo Lingard’s four carry, 82-yard debut Saturday — combined with his determination to improve his shortcomings — apparently will earn him more playing time.

Offensive coordinator Thomas Brown said Tuesday that Lingard is “going to play more.”

Lingard opened the season fifth on the depth chart at running back — behind Travis Homer, DeeJay Dallas, Trayone Gray and Robert Burns (Choc moved to FB & Lo passed Burns)— and didn’t get an offensive snap in the opener against LSU. But his explosive 64-yard run against Savannah State caused everyone to take notice."

“He’s earned more reps,” Brown said. “But the more he knows what to do — he takes coaching really well — the more he plays.”

“He’s normally a high energy guy but he has more pep in his step and actually practiced better,” Brown said.

Richt said Lingard is “very mature. He doesn’t go, ‘I’m five star, I should play.’ He knows ‘I’ve got to get better at certain things.’ And he’s working at it to his credit. We’re really proud of that kind of attitude. Not all of our freshmen are that way, but the majority of them are.”

Keep thinking it's the best players that get the burn. If you stick ur head as far up mannys *** as you do some posters here manny will give you some burn too.

Proof in the pudding. Greg not starting at the beginning of the year and Will not being used in the O until later in the year. Greg clearly is the best player on D and Goofy should’ve been heavily featuring our TE’s in the passing game.

If you’re an actual UM fan and not just a miserable mongoloid of CIS, then you love Lingard. No in between. He’s one of our hardest workers and does everything the right way.

So fck anyone who ever says anything slick or derogatory about him with the same AIDS dyck that did their mommies in.

My man!!!! #truth

You can tell the guys who don’t actually watch the games and are just here to argue like little ladies. Another one with the bulky brace bullshyt lies.

Can we get to the point legitimate fans care about? Is he staying or is he leaving? Anyone who trashes this kid could go play in traffic.

I can assure you that Lo is right, he has't worn the knee brace in three weeks, (DeeJay Dallas wore the same exact knee brace the past three games and no one said a word).

As far as the brace questions are concerned, that was just a precautionary thing they did with him. He hasn’t worn it the past two games. DeeJay wore the same exact brace for three games this year as well.
No he had a brace on his left knee when c as me out to help the hurt OL off the field yesterday in the Duke game.

Bruh, Tate, Hightower, Lo....literally don’t get the hate when these kids have been givin chit by this staff. Don’t take it personal, though.

Another head scratcher of the staff were the plays with Tate. Very good thought, just too many snaps against uf and now kid has not seen field since. The way our staff uses personnel is mind blowing

I hate my school, **** man. We have the dumbest leaders!!! Watch the film it’s clear personnel usage to play call all look dumb

This is such a misinformed and tired argument.

GR15 had a back injury during camp and didn't get all of the reps he needed for both experience and conditioning. As he gained experience and conditioning his role increased to the point of flip flopping the number of snaps with Patchan. and playing a starters role. If anything, that shows the staff was willing to adjust based upon on field (and in practice) performances.

As for Mallory, he can't block for **** and had the drops all year ... including yesterday dropping a critical 3rd down conversion. Hopefully he takes the next step next year but using him as an example on offense is just dumb.

Lol explain our TE misuse then? Explain The UCLA transfer playing over Jordan and Nesta? Explain Ragone playing over Brooks...

“This is such a misinformed argument”

Not my fault you’re retarded...

This is not an attitude issue. I watched him on the sidelines all game. He was engaged. He was pumping up his teammates. As mentioned he helped 74 off the field. He was constantly stretching and keeping himself ready. Yet his number was called once. Robbery Burns is no world beater. There’s no way he’s better then Lo. Of all the stupid things that happened yesterday, this was the dumbest. I feel bad for him.

I don't think anyone though it was.

Yes he should have stayed off social media, but by all accounts he has been one of the hardest working kids on every team he's been on, HS, all-star teams and here. It was probably really hard for him to work as he did and not feel like he was given a fair shot. That's all it seemed to me. If what coaches were saying publicly was lies on top of it, i could really see why he was frustrated beyond repair.
