Lorenzo Featherston

Anyone have any idea the extent of his grade issues? Is it workable or fantasyland?

When did Featherston's grades become a concern? When he decided to visit Miami? The Noles were more than happy to take his commit in January.

Al Foldin gonna close w/ a bunch of dudes who cant qualify again? Brilliant. This sounds like one of those kids, whether he commits or not, will never play a down here. Never.

Texas a and m was happy to take Derrick griffins commitment whenever also, only to drop(and not even send an NLI) that ***** when it mattered. Hopefully, people(mostly chili dog nerds) have learned the "game" golden plays when it comes to so called "closing" on these types of kids. By that I mean, kids who only receive NLIs to sign from jucos/Marshall......... Or Diabeetus gut golden.

They didn't take his commitment in January of his senior year. They took it early thinking he might qualify. So the situation isn't the same. Since you're making comparisons, Trayone Gray is much better one for the Derrick Griffin situation. Was Jimbo Fisher artificially inflating his ranking by taking Featherston in January knowing he had no chance to qualify? Corn Elder didn't just receive offers from Marshall/JUCOs either. So you're making a blanket statement because it happened once unless you consider picking up a 3-star in Lockley as another example of Golden trying to dupe everyone.

that's the Foldin' special. Sign kids that have no chance of qualifying to create fake momentum
