Lo Lingard IG Live

Urban Meyer, one of the best ever, got on a plane and flew to south florida to try and convince Grimes not to transfer. If he is willing to do that, what would ever make you think coaches dont take phone calls from parents? Its part of the job

Urban Meyer flew to south Florida to talk to a player, and you somehow equate that to coaches talking to parents.

Well, I watched part of it and what I got was that he was itching for something to do. He even mentioned running track full time. LL is an athlete and the sitting still is driving him crazy. Tons of people kept begging him to transfer and not to (tons of turds in there trying to get him) and LL just kept asking why people keep talking transfers. Take it for what you will

Needledick, he was with his parents and met with them. I can see you are just a troll now. Congrats on getting everybody to bite

Insults, memes, and GIFs. Every time a discussion doesn't go your way.

Urban Meyer flew to talk to a kid who was going to transfer, therefore coaches text parents to talk about playing time.

Lingard is clearly healthy enough to play. If he wasn't he wouldn't be saying he wants to compete and he wouldn't have gotten cleared by doctors. This aint friday night lights and this isn't boobie miles, Dudes been cleared to play. And people need to stop acting like ACL injuries take a full ******* year to heal.

I think He has like 3 games left to play and keep a redshirt still - even though caring at all that a RB takes a redshirt is an indication whoever is deciding these things is straight up dumb. If a RB isn't good enough to play his 3rd/4th season in College and enter the draft, then why would we want him the 5th year. Yall do remember we're the University of Miami, right?

So when we're blowing a team out like last game, and Burns is getting carries, why is Lingard not? Also Deejay Dallas was hurt a couple games this year, and Harris actually came limping off the field in this game we just played! Seems like situation where Lingard could have gotten some snaps. Plus, over the entire season, anyone that thinks Harris has actually been good, is clearly trippin. He's been pretty average at best. Dude gets some big runs, but other than that he really doesn't do ****. He's had 2 actually good games - GTech (who sucks as at defending the run) and Louisville. Dude has 7 ******* games under 3.8ypc (4 of those were under 2.5). My point is acting like Harris has been so good that he deserves all the #2 carries behind Deejay, is wrong. Hopefully Harris improves or Chaney is ready to play, because Deejay is likely gone, and the staff clearly doesn't want to give Lingard a chance.

And thats the point here, why isn't our 5 star RB, even getting a chance? Not when we're blowing out a team, or when we're playing a **** team? If you were Lingard, and were working hard and completely healthy, and not even seeing a single snap when you were a 5 star coming out and recruited by a different staff than is currently leading the offense, why would you think staying another season is in your best interest? Imo unless we actually give him some snaps, he's going to transfer, and he should.

Spoken like a true fan boy who doesn't have 1% of the information necessary to judge this situation.

You definitely should be in charge of the athletic department. What sound reasoning and advice.

Lo might be fast as greased lightning, but if he cant block he's not playing. You guys need to rewatch the FSU and Louisville games. It seemed like every big play (20+ yards downfield) we had a RB upending a defender. Fantastic blitz pickups by both Cam and DJ are keeping JW alive. Could Lo be used in the screen game? Possibly but DCs have scouting reports too and would know when a RB who cant block is in the game.

Shoulda given him some burn yesterday during garbage time...

....he immediately blows out both knees....

....all of a sudden family members reemerge screamin' that they agreed upon a redshirt....

.....instant debates emerge about coaches not caring about players health or potential future earnings.....blah blah blah.

Take the shirt and freakin' relax (IF he's even actually stressing right now). Come back absolutely 100% next year and THEN complain or transfer if you're not happy. As was mentioned, be happy that you're actually not accumulating any addl real wear and tear on your body while you're playing for free.
Here is your answer MiamiChris........anything the Coaches do they are blamed, and it is better to have LL a healthy 5 star player, than laid up for another year, after just seeing if he could play, or giving in to his emotions....this is big boy football, not peewee League.
Tell LL to cool his jets. His time will come

Not a single person that’s posted here knows what the fūck they’re talking about.

Nobody actually knows how this kid actually feels except himself and those he’s confided in.

All these assumptions yet nobody knows a fūcking thing.

In fact, nobody knows what exactly he actually said on IG, how are you idiots making assumptions based on quotes you haven’t even seen?

You haven’t even seen the quotes yet you are diving deep into his mental state.

What a bunch of delusional gossipy little girls.

Maybe he’s frustrated, maybe he isn't, maybe there are issues behind the scenes, maybe there are not. Or maybe his frustration is based on something like he can’t play because he’s not fully 100%. I’m not going to guess.

But I guarantee you one thing. No one here actually knows.

And you have no further information upon which to base an intelligent opinion now than you did an hour ago before you read this thread.
totally agree................very good post OCCC

This guy has a great chance of being an unbelievable breakout player for us next season and you’re giving him bltch advice to transfer. Maybe you’ve never had a positive male role model in your life to teach you how men are supposed to act, but cutting and running ain’t it.

If he is healthy he should 100% get carries this week to keep him invested. No point in sitting a healthy back
Do you seriously think the Coaches don't know this?.....everyone wants to win, but only if we end the game with no or few injuries to our players.
The responsibility is always there.
It never leaves the Coaches....may the best but healthiest guys play.

You're acting like I want him to transfer. Our coaches are the ones pushing him to transfer by not giving him a single snap when A) he's healthy B) Our Current backup is playing average at best C) We just blew out our last opponent and Burns even got some carries D) doing all this so preserve a Redshirt on a 5* RB is legit retarded.

The Coaches are ******* this up. The player making the best decision for his future should be expected. The fact that these coaches can't make a player with his talent know the best decision for his future is to stay a Cane is a major problem.

But maybe you also think our Walk-On Linebacker playing in place of Pincnkey instead of any of the healthy scholarship LBs we have ready to go, or that Jeff Thomas suddenly isn't a good player and shouldn't get the ball more than 4 times a game....
