Lingard in the Portal

If he’s not all the way back healthy, what the **** type of injury did he have? We need to look in the health doctors conducting the surgery too tbh. Oh well

What dont understand about the "not all the way back healthy" narrative is....he covered kicks.
If he can run and take contact and cut to cover kicks...how is he not healthy enough to run the ball?
Covering kicks is just as stressful.

He played like 3-4 plays the entire season

As a human you have a right to leave a job or relationship when it doesn’t fit your interests or whatever.

fan bases like to take irrational stance when come to there team. Literally the whole fan bases was shîtting on Diaz and Enos for not play the guy. Now we’re calling the guy a quitter cause he decide to leave. WTF!!!

Who says it's about the stress and chance of reinjury? Maybe he was CAPABLE of covering kicks but didn't demonstrate the vision and cutback ability needed to be an effective running back? Many people cover kicks that don't do much else.

I’m one of those who think Manny is the issue. But I can’t argue with him on Lingard. Richt didn’t play Lingard, either.

He had on-field limitations and then he got hurt. In the right system he can be dangerous because of his elite speed. I hope he puts it together.
you're like 0 for 1,000 on all your hot takes & predictions this 2019 season, so I guess why start making any sense now?

Richt did begin to play Lingard and we had 2 NFL running backs ahead of him on the team last year. The fact that you think he has more "limitations" than Robert Burns or a kid who couldn't beat out Nay'quan Wright as a senior in HS for carries is literal insanity.

I mock D$ for his Greentree QB whispering skills, but unless you have also watched the two players, how do you know which one looks better during this season, not HS....and Burns was never considered a bad back, but rather a will he ever be healthy enough to play back

I’m talking about here. I know what he did at UGA.
So the guy who probably had more success with stud freshmen running backs than anyone goes to UM and suddenly decides that it is a good idea to keep a 5 star stud on the bench? That makes zero sense. Richt didn't play him because he didn't show that he was good enough.

Something had to be wrong with the kid to not get a chance and have to sit and watch Tate Martell get to play after taking time off a team sport. Then again maybe there was some historical reasoning behind Martell's choice, maybe he knew what he'd be walking into, like this guy.

That’s an unfair comment, imo. Lingard had a good attitude by all accounts I have seen. I could believe his blocking was a concern of the staff, especially with our OL. And the injury didn’t help. But tarring him with suggestions of culture strikes me as really unfair to a good kid who has repped the U well.

I think you need to differentiate between making a comment and asking a question. I think we intuitively understand that something seems off here. There are however quite a few pointing fingers and make declarative statements as if they know something that are being unfair. I was simply asking a question. That is certainly fair since we are all wondering wth is going on. I didn't "tar" him. Some of you are way too sensitive.
