Lingard and coach’s lack of communication

This whole thing doesn’t make any sense. Someone is lying. Manny said he was full go. If the two guys aren’t getting anything done what’s the excuse for not bringing in someone else? If your excuse is Deejay and Cam couldn’t get it done so Lingard couldn’t either, you’re either an idiot or don’t think Lingard is very good.

If he isn’t fully healthy then it’s on Manny for lying and Lingard’s dad for calling coaches out for only thinking of his son’s future. If this isn’t figured out it’s gonna get ugly quick

Cook is not really getting anything had 1 attempt last game and 9 on the year. It's mainly two backs. I'm sure if Lingard was healthy all year he would have at least 9 carries too.

yes. It's two backs. Did you see Kenny McIntosh on the field? And Kirby worked White in after his ACL recovery slowly. Not all at once.

I had someone on Twitter telling me that Lo can't get carries that would go to Deejay/Cam because last week was the first game he was cleared, and that the game was always within 1 score so we couldn't afford to give him some touches. That latter point then somehow morphed into (paraphrasing) "he's not competing well enough to take carries away from RB1 or RB2".

I can concede him not being 100% cleared until last week, but the whole score situation/not competing thing I find that extremely hard to believe, especially considering how hard he's worked to try to come back off of injury.

If you can put in the time to recruit a 5* RB, stand behind him as he sits out due to knee injury/rehab...then you can probably find a few carries to throw his way when Deejay/Cam are struggling against Central ******* Michigan.

I'm not talking about starting Lo or even giving him an even share of the workload...I'm talking 2-5 carries to see if he can bring a spark. But somehow, that's unheard of because we weren't up by more than 1 score against CENTRAL ******* MICHIGAN. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

I wish I could thumbs up this more than once.

Nothing to see here. I expect Lo to get some playing time in the coming weeks and perhaps become a 3 RB rotation. Things gonna be alright!

THAT'S ALL I AM SAYING! Thank you. Not bashing Cam Harris but we get lucky and grab an elite kid and our coaches don't play them. Mark Pope lost his talent? I'm not buying it. They keep playing Jeff "Drop a lot" Thomas.

Well, quite honestly, we could have just about any running back outside of Earl Campbell and a few others that could routinely "block" for themselves and we would have this problem.

Maybe Lo's tireless comeback makes him such a back, but I would bet he still requires a nice hole to run through which even the current backs aren't getting....with our without going down too easily with contact.

UM

All of this for 17-136.....82 of which came against Sav St.
Let’s not act like he shouldn’t have played more before his injury. I remember vividly he was completely healthy and we were blowing unc out in 2018 yet homer and Dallas were the only rbs to get carries even when all we did was run the ball in the second half. No excuses for that, he was underutilized before his injury last year too

Do you know the facts on why he was "underutilized?" Or is this going to be another long rant based on an opinion?

Pretty sure nobody including his family and himself knows why he’s not playing that’s the problem. All I know is off the field he works his butt off

Maybe he just isn't as good as those ahead of him on the depth chart. Sports are filled with players who work their butts off, but just aren't as good as those ahead of them on the depth chart.

Working your "butt off" doesn't guarantee you playing time.

Does it matter? Richt had The whole storm 18 class on training wheels at that point as not many of the freshman were playing outside of scaife and jordan
