Lingard and coach’s lack of communication

People who learned from the Andre Johnson situation back in 2000 will learn their lesson. Staff thought they were better off red-shirting AJ because we had Wayne and Moss. Andre only recorded 2 years at Miami because he was a top 10 pick after his 3rd year. If you have a baller at RB/WR, play them and fit them into the game plan.

He needed time to get acclimated from the Wing T. He's by far our best size / speed athlete on the roster. I'd like to see what he could do. It's time we just see what our best athletes can do.

dude is coming off a major knee injury. watched him in practice and his explosiveness still had not been fully recovered yet. oh and also we have two RBs that have been playing their tail off. but whatever blame the coaches for not playing him :ROFLMAO:
 
People were saying transfer candidate prior his injury due to DJ and cams emergence. Not really surprised with what his dad said. He’s coming off an injury and is behind 2 guys.
 
I had someone on Twitter telling me that Lo can't get carries that would go to Deejay/Cam because last week was the first game he was cleared, and that the game was always within 1 score so we couldn't afford to give him some touches. That latter point then somehow morphed into (paraphrasing) "he's not competing well enough to take carries away from RB1 or RB2".

I can concede him not being 100% cleared until last week, but the whole score situation/not competing thing I find that extremely hard to believe, especially considering how hard he's worked to try to come back off of injury.

If you can put in the time to recruit a 5* RB, stand behind him as he sits out due to knee injury/rehab...then you can probably find a few carries to throw his way when Deejay/Cam are struggling against Central ******* Michigan.

I'm not talking about starting Lo or even giving him an even share of the workload...I'm talking 2-5 carries to see if he can bring a spark. But somehow, that's unheard of because we weren't up by more than 1 score against CENTRAL ******* MICHIGAN. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Lingard Sr. better chill. His kid was injured. It isnt like theres some conspiracy against him.

Of course he can. And so can you. No one is stopping either one of you from embarrassing yourselves. But he's still a pops. Pops always spins the story so it favors his own son.

Better chill? Based on what? That’s his kid... All he said was IF THINGS DONT CHANGE he won’t be there for long. Do you all know how common that is in college football nowadays? Kids want to play at the end of the day. Miami needs to get him in the game vs va tech if he’s ready to play. It’s simple, you play him and this won’t be an issue

Based on the fact that LL got INJURED and the school isn't going to play him INJURED and IS going to nurse him back to health and provide free education while he is where he is on the depth chart. Yes, he had better chill unless he wants to sound like Rob Marve's dad and some of these other folks demanding more play time for their kid.
