I think it’s a deep group. Wes, Toure, Popo, Smith, an athletic freshman in Wiley. If Washington and Bonner can get healthy that only adds to the depthToure is a force off the edge. We saw that a bit with Kiko as well
It’s not a deep group but they are playing well
No switch out Toure for WesleyChase Smith > Toure
Toure has no twitch imo kinda stuff. Keep WesNo switch out Toure for Wesley
Chase Smith was all over the field and could have made two big turn over plays. His athleticism really popped out today and let's hope he's a great 4th backer the rest of the year
Will be curious to see if they reward Smith in the Fla game. I doubt he starts? But should get alot of burn.Went back and watched the defense. Chase was making plays all over and showing speed and instincts. He made a play at the end of the first half on a fast WR in coverage that would've gone for a big gain if the other LBs were in coverage. Next play stuffs the run and then blows up another play on a run blitz on 3rd down. He should be starting vs UF. Toure is too much of a liability in coverage.
Man, Kiko in this scheme would have been lights out.Toure is a force off the edge. We saw that a bit with Kiko as well
It’s not a deep group but they are playing well
I’m sure staff told Brown to play it smart. Knocked him out for the season last year. So he’s got the whole conference schedule ahead of him, I legit never saw him slide until this past weekend.Against a great running qb they had bryrum brown scared to run ngl. Did a great job on the run defense today
I'd put Wesley at 4 behind Popo tooNo switch out Toure for Wesley
If we're gonna play the best players he should start. We dont have LBs who can do what he did in that game. He just needs to clean up his tackling. Will be curious to see if they reward Smith in the Fla game. I doubt he starts? But should get alot of burn.
Yeah he was running scared which is usually not what he doI’m sure staff told Brown to play it smart. Knocked him out for the season last year. So he’s got the whole conference schedule ahead of him, I legit never saw him slide until this past weekend.
