I can ask why that is a concern? Real question not trying to be a smart ***. Malik had his limitations obviously, but from the outside in he was a true cane and looked like he worked his butt off. Can he not teach him coverages and certain reads within our offense? Can he not teach him footwork and things like that? Like I said honest question, not trying to be a smart *** what so ever.

Dude is a really good athlete but his athleticism doesn’t show on film. I‘m speaking on his film and what he’s actually done. Does that mean I want him to leave? Nah, but all I can judge you on is production. I think he could defienitely help us next year.

He worked with him SOME last year and as I've said he has ALOT to still work on. Further more he worked with him last year AND we didn't have anyone to give him any special attention as a QB coach. We also had a system Malik atleast understood because of how it was ran... I wouldn't expect you to understand this (since you like you're steaks well done)BUT SINCE YOU SEEM TO BELIEVE YOURE EDUCATING ME HERE I'll simply say frank Ponce is KNOWN for being very good at coaching up his qbs. In order to do that HE GIVES THEM SPECIAL INSTRUCTION. Malik rosier does not need to be teaching him anything that can only complicate the learning curve. On top of the fact Malik is simply the mixed version of lil Johnny as a QB coach. We are trying to break the cycle, not give it a kickstart all over again. But thanks for schooling me Brock. He needs ALOT of coaching. He's nowhere near a finished product. There's a reason ALOT of schools tell kids they don't want them with private coaches. He doesn't need to muddy up the waters. He needs consistent coaching. On top of that you want Kirby freeman to come in and work with him too?

I get It we want continued development from ponce tvd but looking at extra film and getting tips from anybody can’t hurt

You don’t care you’re speaking to someone who is very involved with the program and is probably plugged in more than anyone else on the board? Interesting.

So real answer than. Malik Rosier is the worst starting QB here ever (in the last 40 years atleast)besides Kirby freeman. I don't care about his fake stats that seems to fool our wise fanbase just like I don't care about Mike Harleys fake stats... Facts are facts. Why do you want a kid who can't walk in the same path teaching a kid who has tons of potential ANYTHING. I don't want Tyler taking on any more bad habits than he already has since that's enough for Ponce to have to correct as is.

I’ll just take it as a down year, people have them. **** you remove 5 quality starters from that 2020 defense and no wonder our defense declined so drastically. That’s a lot of talent and impact players gone which is part of the reason we struggled honestly. Regardless I hope He comes back

Gilbert frierson 2nd best player on defense after phillips in 2020 , play dropped drastically in 21

Phillips lost for the nfl draft

Roche lost for the nfl draft

But back to football (which he had nothing to do with at all at uga)I'm gonna put you in touch with Tyler cause you very well may be just as qualified as Malik and tips from anybody no matter how unqualified can never hurt. Agreed, another player that showed potential and was instantly overrated by us. He has the potential and time to turn into a player but he ain’t there yet.

What is it you are seeing from Malik’s private coaching that has you skeptical?

JHH stats might be inflated for 2020 because he played on a line with two NFL guys. When they left, JHH had to fend for himself and didn't do so well. Don't we call that the 'bama effect'? Where average guys look way better because they're surrounded by elite players. He should stay and take advantage of having highly skilled guys on the line with him again.
