Let the speculation begin

Nope, I’ve said as much. Nesta was so much better than him last year but people have down years. He still is a high end talent and I like his athletic background
Ya they do have bad years. I would say that everyone on the DL that Miami is bringing in is better then JHH right besides the UAB transfer IMO.

This would unfortunately make a lot of sense.
This was the wrong Spring for any receiver, lineman and linebacker to miss. All they did was open the door for transfers with a coach who is in the Saban model of win-at-all-costs.
Like Mario said in the Joe Rose interview, I bet those receivers would have caught more passes if they felt the pressure of new guys coming to take their spot. I am paraphrasing what Mario said but the point is players better perform because we are going to create pressure by constantly bringing someone better.

Ya I agree, well said. It’s how it should be to have the best players on the field. I do think there should be a balance between the two as in actually giving underclassman a Chance before going and just adding to add in the portal. The more competition the better I agree.

I’m taking hunte over every dlineman we brought in outside maybe mesidor easily
Oh wow ok. I understand that but agree to disagree I would take mesidor or, Jake and if Jackson too before hunte I think they will be more productive this year they’re not as quick but we need stronger run stuffing d line

Then you did not watch him close enough. Big talent.
He had potential but he showed very little , just like the rest of the dl. And was a reason why our defense sucked. We had ZERO dudes playing big minutes on the DL last year. LT was still a pup so I’m not counting him. I’m just being real. There’s a reason Mario hit that area so hard. I hope he stays for depth but I see people overrating our guys per usual.

Agree 100%. But the days of “having a starting spot” are over if there isn’t production to back it up.
I felt like Mario was speaking directly to Jacolby George for reaching up with one hand on the throw he missed and Keyshawn for dropping 2 passes that have to be caught for UM to succeed.
On the flip side, Mario is quick to praise the guys who are putting in work; Tae and James, Parrish, Thad, TVD and all the QB’s.

TVD, Tae, J Will, or Kichens would upset me if they transferred. Other than those 4 I could careless. Is Flagg out? Lol
I doubt any of those guys would transfer. Crème rises to the top and I’m sure this staff will put who we need and deserves to be on the field.

I actually hate posts like that
I'll make it simple cause today I just ain't with the *****. Within the last two weeks we had 5 highly rated recruits commit. Several going public this week. One in particular you will love to see. Second thing is confirmation Wes was in an accident yesterday & hurt his foot. Still don't have confirmation if it's a hairline or a clean break.

That’s a great point. The competition, intensity mario wants to bring to Miami you can tell they’re taking it seriously and it’s actually business not bs anymore. Dead weight on a roster and said dead weight taking reps is one of the more frustrating things as fan to me. I hope with Mario he just gives guys their papers when they’re not where they planned

Thank you for continuing to bring real information and cutting thru the speculation.

Restrepo is miles ahead of every receiver the team! It’s not because of talent the reason is work ethic! That’s gonna change with Mario navigating this ship and that’s why he said what he said on The Joe Rose Show!

If you guys really wanted something to be concerned about you should look at who or staying quarterback has chose to workout with throughout the off season. Yup that's Malik rosier... He's helping coach up a hiesman contender & our starting QB(FML)

HS or portal? 👀

Based on potential? Maybe. But what’s been put on tape doesn’t align with that. I’d hate to lose him bc we’re thin and I believe he does have potential, but if it hasn’t shown up yet, I might not ever.

@brock , I see why you like JHH over the inbound portalers from his potential. And "maybe" it was Manny and "maybe" it was a slump year. But he was mediocre at best at the point of attack last year. I honestly can't remember one memorable moment from him in 2021. Mario/Steele/Salave'a can't just hope for the best. Those kids coming in may have lower ceilings. But they've produced. I'd take every one of them but Moultrie over JHH to win in 2022.

@Cribby agree on your assessment. No one played at an acceptable level at DT last season. Silvera and Ford were the best options last year, and their performance was "okay" for ACC play, but we would fold like a house of cards against top teams. I'm very concerned about Taylor, too. He had bad coaching last season. Simpson and Stroud weren't bad DL coaches per se. But they did him a disservice in letting him play before he was sound, he had no fundamentals. Sometimes you need to slow down to speed up. And it's going to take a full season, IMHO, for Taylor to get back on the right vector where he's playing at 5-star level.
