Lenius Receives Miami Offer

I'm thinking Karlos Dansby when he was a receiver, before he became a safety and then a linebacker.

Im serious tho...

Didnt Daniel Adderly have the same young for his grade, 2 minute highlight on go routes covered by 5'7 dbs?

I still remember first day of open practice and Daniel makes his debut, in warmups he goes for a slant and I saw the most uncoordinated receiver ever, literally have the ball slap him. Knew right there buddy was a scrub. Make it home check the board and someone comments that the kid will never play a down at UM, and then got my first taste of full homer, every player will get better with time homer mode posters commenting that it was just the first day and dont write him off yet. Lol, good times.

Either way I wonder who is closer to their comparison, mine or the guy who compared him to NFL pro bowler. Lulz..

Guys, Ive seen him play live a couple of times and I'll say it again, I think in a few years he will grow into a move-Tight End. Having stood next to him after games, I think he will grow out of the WR position

But he really catches the ball naturally and high points it well. I think he can become a mismatch machine if used properly

Here we go with big WR turning into TEs... This kid is a WR and will continue to be one

I have a bad feeling this means Griffin got his score.

That's exactly what it means I'm sorry but that kid is dumb... but I don't blame him I blame all the ppl in his life for allowing him to think he could get by on athletics alone... now hes gonna sign to marrshell and be the next randy moss...

FSU gets Rudolf, we get a Cali kid with good grades.

Have we not learned that these takes haven't worked out?

I agree. FSU arms themselves with the best wr from down here, we take some pre-teen giant with a gland disorder.

Tighten up, Golden.

Of course we miss our on Lane, Dixon and Rudolph and end up going to the other side of the country to get some kid no one knows about.

**** AL GOLDEN

It's a bit early to write the kid off isn't it? He hasn't stepped on campus yet.

I wouldnt get caught up in where a kid is from .. Question is can he play and does he want to be a Cane. Clearly these kids yawl are butt hurt about didnt want to come here.

Wipe the tears off your face about Lane,Rudolph, and Dixon and evaluate this kid based on his strengths he is 215 right now. It took Streeter 3 years to get this type of size and this kid has it at 16 !!!

If he would have hit the camp circuit he would be a 4-star prospect and yawl would love him.. Every kid doesnt camp to get those ratings you have to look deeper at his game.

Kid looks like a Keshawn Johnson/Mike Williams type. I remember watching both of their highlight tapes. This kid is not as highly touted as they were, but that's who he reminds me of.

To further your point, we take pre-pubescent kids hoping they will turn into players while FSU takes grown men.

We're playing checkers.

You never know really and have to trust the coaches eye. Rashawn Scott was criticized and coaches were ridiculed for offering him. People said he was just dominating lower competition. He has played well (considering his injuries and off the field issues) and has a lot of upside if he can stay healthy and keep his head on straight. But then you have a guy like D'Mauri Jones who was also offered early and lowly rated that couldn't crack the depth chart even with all the depth issues.

Getting the big star is important but you can find some good ones. Allen Hurns was not highly ranked either but he was money. But obviously you have to get the big talent because it's less of a crap shoot. We have a pretty good WR class so far though. When you have depth issues and have to stack up it's hard to find the right group who will all come in at the same time like that too.
