Latest on McIntosh, Norton, and Jackson

If McCloud doesn’t improve multifold between now and next year Steed is going to eat his lunch. It’s one thing to look the part. You gotta be able to make football plays though.
Now this I’d like to see. I pray Steed is 100% and stays that way and takes the job from McCloud or should I say McLost cause he seemed lost a lot this year.

Steed? WTF? Just another South Florida 3-star who has never done anything in an actual game, but gets all sorts of hyped on CIS for whatever reason.

Sorry but Steed is Trayone Gray until he actually shows otherwise
You must be smoking crack. Steed is a stud he’ll shut your mouth eventually.

How about you STFU. He’s been rehabbing from an injury. Try to keep the fūck up. Spring will be the first camp where he can participate in full. I don’t believe he’s even actually ever been in a game.

So the kid didn't impress enough in high school to earn a fourth star, and didn't participate all last year, never heard the coaches mention him once, is coming off a major injury.....so where is all the conference in him coming from?

He played for Central....and...South Florida bros.

Hey man, I'll believe the Steed hype when I see actual production from him. Until then, McCloud has more upside.

Miami is a better team if McCloud can get it together between the ears

By the way, do you post in EVERY thread? Bro, you need a hobby.

So......we're a better team when players put it together. I don't understand how Ariz doesn't have you on the payroll.

OriginalCanesCanesCanes is right though, you need to STFU about Steed. He was a stud his sophomore year leading Central with 83 tackles and to a state title gottdammit! He didn’t play his junior year cause of shoulder injury and he blew out his ACL his Senior year. He was so impressive that he was rated the 21st ranked ILB in the nation by Rivals and 13th by 247. They still gave him 3 stars out of respect even though he barely played his last two years of high school but it should have been higher. Again Shhhhhhh...........

Peter Ariz - Has Willis been with the team during bowl prep?

Willis would strongly consider transferring if RJ decides to return. No way he's going to burn his final year of eligibility as a back up. Just my opinion.

I believe hes already used his red shirt year, so if he transfered, his eligibility would run out- Unless he went D2. F[]_[]ck if they all come back play RJ at DE, hes plenty quick enough

I'm sorry.. what is your relationship to Willis that allows you to speak for him.. such a BS fake news post

Unless he wants to go FCS, Willis can't transfer. Next year is his last year of eligibility and he can't grad transfer because he doesn't have his degree.

Like so many other posters, you pulled this opinion out of your ***

I wasn't aware it worked that way. Thought he would be able to leave as he sat out this past year. Thanks for clearing that up.

I just couldn't see him coming back to come off the bench. He's focused on going to the league and it would seem more difficult to building your draft stock as the second string DT. I'm sorry if it bothered you.

So basically he's a lower rated version of Robert Burns.

It was definitely just my opinion on the situation. His career has been far from normal. So it made me think he wouldn't be interested in coming off the bench in his final year.

Kinda surprised that McIntosh isn't more highly regarded. Most people consider the ND guard a 1st round pick and he abused him at times.

Why yall act like these fake assessments are the gospel? We see this **** every year.

NFL teams will have their own individual judgements of who they believe is a 1st round option or not and RJ McIntosh will be on that list for most of them. They don't care about all this before the off season bs.

No NFL teams rank players based on mock drafts and advisory boards
KrazyCane I thought the same thing... but compare Walter Camps last few Mock Drafts then compare them to the actual drafts

He's a DT, not a QB. He'd get plenty of burn regardless of whether he was first or second string.

Dude tore his acl last year dumba$$. You'll eat everyone one of these idiotic words , Steed will be a beast here.

If this kid were from Texas or Pennsylvania, you'd be writing him off already. But South Florida kids get special consideration from people around here.

I'll call BS on you. I don't think we'll ever see Steed start for UM. I bet what happens is Quarterman, Pinkney, and McCloud start this year, and we land a few 4/5 stars in 2019 who will pass Steed up on the depth chart.

Steed hasn't played a full season of football since he was a sophomore in high school. This is worse than being a greentree all american because he hasn't even shown out on greentree. Wake me up when he EARNS something.

You trippin boy. Florida grows linebackers like oranges. 3 star lbs here are equivalent to 4-5 star lbs from buttfuc$$ Texas or Pennsylvania. lmao.

mock drafts from the nfl media are mostly about what they are hearing from the teams themselves, rather than actually who deserves to be drafted where. And again where you are drafted doesn't matter once you step on the football field.

Personally I'd be very surprised to see McIntosh be a top 3 round pick. I think most likely he'd end up a 4th or 5th round pick. But that is actually really good for a DT leaving early, especially when he really hasn't even got much attention, at least not nationally. I don't see him being drafted above Wilkins, Vita Vea, or Da'Ron Payne. Then theres about 6 guys that will go in the same range as McIntosh, where it really is a toss up - Derrick Nnandi, Maurice Hurst, Dre'Mont Jones, Trenton Thompson, Harrison Phillips, Taven Bryant. Personally I'd drafte McIntosh after those first 3 I named, but I think the biggest concern is he didn't really make an impact when he went up against Quenton Nelson, and he is definitely too reliant on the swim or spin move. If you watch McIntosh's tape, its seems like everytime he wins its via the swim move. Doubt it works as well at the next level.
