Lanorris Sellers to the U next year?

All I ask is that going forward we have a QB that has better than average mobility. Nobody fears Beck pulling the ball and running. It's easy for the defense to defend the run when the edges can crash down every play.
Yea please give us a dual threat

Its sellers or Bailey

However.. what needs to happen is having an human with a personality as a head coach instead of a robot

I want to see my head coach talking to your qb through out the game and both being leaders of the team/men

People think every athletic qb can learn to be a good passer, or every qb playing behind a bad oline is way more than the stats say. Same **** people tried to do with Milroe before they actually watched him against Michigan.

You could throw on Ward’s tape at Wazzu and see the passing ability despite the bad offensive line. Sellers can’t ******* throw the ball. I couldn’t care less if his stats are good or bad, watch him play.

He has all the tools in the world to be a top 5 pick tho. Give him a good o-line and our skill talent next year should be big time

He has been baaaaaaaaad this year. Think that's why. Their OL has been horrendous in pass pro the games I have seen, but dude still has been a bad QB this year.
Yeah there’s the sophomore slump aspect to having more film on guys but there’s a bit more to it with him imo

@TwentySix been taking people throwing scratches at us over this

I’d bet on his physical gifts that are pretty **** good though but it will probably take something insane to get him here

Why do you think he is so much worse this year than last year, when he showed that he can throw?

Give Sorsby 6 million for an opportunity to get his draft stock from 2nd round to #1 pick. He’s the QB that can single-handedly win you a championship.
Not saying I dont like him but 11/33 last week with a pick was not a great performance

He has no one to throw the ball to. Nicholas Harbor is his deep threat and he's still learning the WR position. Sellers is a BOSS. I just hope we employ the coaching setup to see him blossom.

His inaccuracy reminds me of Martell and Freeman.
Individually or combined?

Not sold as him being the #1 option out there but i do believe he would be the #1 compared to whats currently in here (behind Beck).

Sorsby has been terrible against any team with a pulse this year

All QBs have a bad game or two. Ward had two clunkers back to back while at WSU (UCLA and Zona). Sorsby's worst games as a passer this year were the opener against Nebraska (still ran for almost 100 yards with 2 TDs) and the most recent game against Utah. Inarguable he had a really bad day against a top 20 defense. But if you think Sorsby isn't a winner because he had one stinker this season, you have a strange rating system for QBs.

The thing that kills the Cristobal/Dawson offense besides the penalties is turnovers. It's a conservative offense that leaves no margin for error. Beck has been an interception machine for almost 2 seasons. Sorsby is nearly perfect with taking care of the ball- 21 TDs with just 2 picks this season. With this year's defense, we're likely undefeated or at worst a 1 loss team if we have a QB who doesn't throw game ending picks.

How many picks on this season? Don't get me wrong- I am glad you and @TrumpyCane are asking those questions because I hope NFL teams do too and it knocks him out of the first round. That's the window of opportunity to convince him to try and up his draft stock by being a Heisman candidate at Miami.

The fact that it's leaking this early leads me to believe it's not going to happen.

We're usually not this preemptive with offseason roster moves. We normally wait until the season is over, Bowl game is played & the 2nd NSD before we really put our focus on Portal additions.

This sounds like an NIL agent putting feelers out there to up the ante for a renegotiation come December-January.

Just my guess though.
He’s clearly not developing as USCe though, so to put this out there purely for NIL doesn’t seem likely. I’m sure it’s planting the seed for all portal QB needy teams next year to let them know that he will be testing FA

Guys, these transfer QBs come in and have 9 months to learn a new offense until the season starts. Would the QBs we recruited be a better option after two to three years in the same offense?
