Golden controls the attendance issue? Funny, because that issue has been around since I was a student at UM in the early '90s.

What??? When Golden was hired he made some general statement to the world that other teams needed to get their licks in while they can, I'm just curious as to when this will stop. If we kicked Louisville's *** on Monday night do you think Lamar sends out that tweet?

Lamar's attack was related to attendance, not win/loss. Other teams have been pointing to and ridiculing our attendance for a long time, and the problem has persisted for decades. So our attendance issues have zero to do with Golden.

The OB held 70k + and used to be rockin even for Long Beach State, FAMU, etc etc. Maybe not capacity, but respectable crowds most of the time. Especially night games on tv were almost always full in the late 80s, 90s, early 00s.

No they weren't. I was there for every single home game for 5 years in the 90's. If it wasn't a big game, the stadium was 1/2 empty.

LOL, big words Sunrise Cane. Your right, we hired a marginal (At best) player to be the assistant director of football operations...Maybe thats the problem. While we are at it, maybe we can get Lance Leggett to come back also.

It's pretty stupid to equate how good of a coaching/admin hire someone is by how good of a player they were. If that's your metric for deciding who's a good coach I'm glad you've got nothing to do with hiring.
