Yes another thread to point out how we squandered a bunch of talent on this roster because of **** poor coaching.

He's got Flowers to the Texans
Perryman to the Broncos
Dorsett to the Seahawks.

Duke will likely be a 2nd rounder which would make 4 players gone in the top 2 rounds for a 6-7 team that got handled in arguably the ****tiest division in the power conferences.

Dorsett paired with a real running game would be insane.

I'm not a Seahawks fan due to being a Niners fan, but having Dorsett to pair with that running game (if Lynch stays) is the homerun threat that Wilson hasn't had to throw to since Percy Harvin. As long as Dorsett's issues w/his hands doesn't return, he'd be an awesome pickup for someone in the bottom part of the 1st/early 2nd round.

If those 3 land with those teams, they are really good fits!

Curious to see where Duke lands. The system, more than the team, will determine how good he can be, IMO.

Our talent level is increasing, which is a great thing. It's also the main reason we are all mad as **** we aren't winning. For the first time in how many years will we have, at least possibly, multiple players taken in the first round? That's about the only positive thing I can say about this staff. They can spot talent and develop it. **** shame they can't figure out what to actually DO with it. It's like a guy who knows how to fine tune an engine, but doesn't know how to drive the **** car.

When the day comes we get a coach that can get the most out of the talent he has, we will win big, again.

Three guys in the first round. Not named Clive or Duke. And we went 6-7. Folden would go 7-6 with Bamas squad.

I'm thrilled to listen to analyst after analyst wondering how the **** we were a sub .500 football team on the first day of the draft. It's going to be glorious.

I've been clamoring for 3 years now saying how Dorsett was being totally underutilized in our offense, and how he was going to make serious $$$$ in the NFL.

People told me I was wrong and that he "wasn't that good".

He'd go 7-6 with Ohio states squad, and then give us a bunch of stupid excuses. **** al golden and his stupid haircut.

As much as Al likes these kids, you know he is secretly praying this doesn't happen. Lol. It would be the talk of ESPN Draft day.

Potentially..BY THE NUMBERS..(ESPN actually might do this..lol.)

3 in the top 34 picks. (Perryman, Flowers, Dorsett)

5 in the top 80 picks. (Walford, Duke)

7 in the first 5 rounds. (Gunter, Feliciano)

9 drafted overall (Chick, Armbrister)

6-7 record.

Smh.

Wilson throws a nice deep ball too. Could be scary dangerous on play action.

I'm not at all sure how you draw that conclusion. You ever been around people who just seem to "get" things no matter what? You ever been around people who don't require much guidance to succeed? Pretty sure these guys will ball no matter where they go, or who the play for, because they are just that talented. It has nothing to do with development. Do the coaches get credit for "developing" Duke Johnson?

Further, how about Chickillo and Gunter? People were raving about them in the all-star games. Does Al Golden get the credit for Chickillo making plays in a 1 gap DL, when he was coached to hold blocks his entire career here? Same with Gunter and playing man. Perhaps these kids were being asked to do what they are naturally strong at, and it has absolutely nothing to do with development.

Why do people think a few top level players is a talent rich class?

Didn't the 2001 Canes have like 20 first rounders and like 40 guys on it who had careers in the NFL.

We had talent on this team but as far as being a talent rich team, that's laughable by Miami standards. This team certainly should have had a better record than what it had but as with any team that's not deep as you get further into the season and are more impacted by injuries you cant stand the test of the long season that other deep teams can. This team was not deep enough to win any type of title and would have been beat to **** and back by any Miami team who ever won a title.

When you have no one to replace the Duke threat it takes good coaches about 1 week to figure out how to beat you. When your Oline gets beat up and your running game and rookie QB takes hits then your flow takes a major hit. Great coaching staffs can absorb and redirect in the face of these challenges and that's just one area where the inexperience of this staff is an obvious weakness. You could also argue that outside of Jimmie, Miami has never had great coaching staffs they have always just flat out had more talented teams.
