King saban in his throne room work recruits.

Saban was at LSU 5 years and he averaged 3 losses per season. He had one great 13-1 year and won the championship in 2003. In 2004 he went 8-5, lost his bowl and ended ranked 16th before bailing to the NFL. There's a reason he was significantly better at Alabama and it's not skills he picked up during failed tenure with the Fins.

He couldn't do it with the bags, cars and jobs for family members. I dont care what anybody says. But yall slurp away.

I don't think they love his West Virginian Croatian demeanor. But he f'in wins. How does 300k and a great chance to go the league sound to some hood kid from Broward? Probably pretty **** good.
I wish he had actually said that (the car part). I would love to hear the NCAA excuse afterwards. Something like...

“Our team of august investigators have thoroughly researched the alleged infractions over a period of time that lasted no less than twelve hours, and have determined that Coach Saban was merely referring recruits to a local car dealership (Saban Automotive) that has excellent deals and fantastic, quality vehicles. We actually recommend it too, given its quality.”

Someday, somehow it will happen to even Alabama. Enough of the players will start to believe in their own invincibility just because they put on the uniform. And don’t tell me the coaching staff won’t allow it...that constantly rotating cast of characters will one day create the conditions that breed it. And when that happens, Alabama is going to be upset. Just like Ive seen happen to Miami in 1993 or 2006, or Texas in 2010.

If I was recruiting against Alabama on Miami staff for kids from South Florida.

-Miami is getting close to rising back to the top. We need players like you to get us over the hump. Miami has shown when we are right, and getting players like you we can be unstoppable. We have produced more Hall of Famers than Alabama, and we only recently in the history of college football rose to elite status starting in the 1980’s.

-It’s Miami not Alabama with the record of 1st round draft picks in a single year.

-Miami 2001 is considered the best team of all-time. That is what we are working to get back to.

-How sweet would it be to stay home, get Miami to the top of the mountain, and beat teams like Alabama and Clemson to reclaim the throne in college football!? You can be a legend. You can come to Miami..take Miami to the top..become a high draft pick...get a great education. The opportunities coming to a school like Miami are endless. The connections you will make at Miami are so much greater being in world class city with beautiful weather year round.

-How many players you think go back to Alabama after football? Like 2%, because no one wants to spend time in Tuscaloosa post football.

-Come be a legend Son.

What if I told you his son is the assistant GM at his dealership? Nick Jr playing his part in the bag game.

Hopefully it happens Sept 2021

Yeah he just listed off his accomplishments. I'd love to hear his pitch before they were great.
This is what I was thinking. There's no question that what he has done with getting them and keeping them where they are has been incredible, but there was nothing special about that pitch. He's got the reputation and results (which he earned) that he can just state facts with no charisma. And even now, if he went somewhere else, he would be able to point to what Alabama did while he was there.

Without the Bama bag$$ and other booster backing$$ we’d see the same thing with Nick Saban that we’re seeing with Bill Belichick

Legendary Players (Brady, Gronk, etc.), 5 Star Recruits make coaches a lot better than they are

Not saying Belichick and Saban aren’t great coaches, but you need legendary players to turn your system and teams into dynasty level

Numbers and facts don’t lie. He ain’t **** unless he has a massive talent advantage.

Maybe or maybe not, but he has proven he can get the talent and maximize it. Are there bags helping that - I am sure, but Alabama is not the only school where that is going on and no other school has been able to be as consistently good as Alabama for this long of a stretch in the modern era.

I know......best bag game in history will get you that. **** them. I have no respect for them.

The slurping and discrediting are equally pathetic.
i agree. he is willing to do things other coaches wont. at the same time, if miami did half the stuff in recruiting he did, they'd be on probation. The NCAA and ESPN turn a blind eye to any school not named USC or Miami (SMU also felt this) because those small town economies rely on the football programs so much
