Like I said, what does the past have to do with him? He wasnt here.
Of course it matters, and you asking stupid rhetorical questions doesn't change the fact: (1) he wasn't trying to sell recruits on UM for the past two years because he wasn't coaching here, thereby putting him at a disadvantage with 2021 kids who had already built relationships with staffs; and (2) nobody has seen what his offense at UM will look like, so he literally has nothing to sell except hopes and dreams.
We have a potential 3 QBs leaving the room after the season, tons of opportunity and now it seems we will be scrapping the G5 bucket just like in 2019.
Top recruits don't just blindly want playing time. They want playing time in a system that will allow them to showcase their talents for the next level. Especially at QB.
