That’s the way it should be. I agree. But it hasn’t been that way for years even with obvious inferior teams. Even if we did have a nice return it seemed like penalties killed it every time.

Well the last 3 times we played FCS teams we shut them out...And the 3 kicks we did returned averaged over 30 yards.

I only saw the first half of the game, had to go to a good friends birthday, but it looked like most of it was blocking scheme and Key identifying the right alley.

I wouldn’t label key as a special teams god just yet, but it’s clear the special teams coaching has improved.

Restrepo in this offense is WR1.. That should be clear, even if other guys are open, TVD will go to restrepo.. Thats his guy and as we have heard thru practice is our most consistent guy..

I don't understand. There was literally not an attempt his way. Did you see what the outside WRs did on many occasions? They were clearing out. I think there were less than 3 attempts to outside WRs. My comment doesn't mean Key Smith will or won't do anything going forward. But, I'm not sure what he could have "done" if **at least today** he didn't get his number called (as a WR).
