Ummmm michael thompson is ELITE (were in a very good place with him & coburn. But I'd say coburn is more of a long shot)

I actually want both.

But If I were picking one, I'd choose Coburn. Getting Coburn to play 1tech would allow Nesta to play 3tech. Now I know Nesta is hella big already, and could probably play the 1tech spot. But the 3tech spot is the more flashy position and the position where Nesta would make the most plays.
Dudes gunna be a beast, but I'd just rather see him in a position where he's more dominating 1 on 1, than taking on a bunch of double teams.
Not that that 1tech spot isn't important, because its very important, but Nesta at 3tech is gunna be a beast.

I was thinking this. Nesta can play 3 tech and as long as he keeps his explosiveness dominate. 3 Techs need enough quickness to make backside tackles. Once they lose that due to size or injury they need to move to 1 tech.

Thats the one problem as i said that ive seen with kool is his recruiting. He does everything his way & on his schedule. That wont work with elite dt or elite qb. Those are two positions that require a long time commitment 9 out of 10 and you really gotta coddle them. We let support staff get a lil too involved sometimes for my liking. Myself in all honesty we were really turned off by Daugherty. Hes a real kooky character. Takes alot of adjusting too. [MENTION=6088]Tweed[/MENTION] what was yall thoughts on Daugherty? The rest of the staff we related to from day 1 & can talk whenever & wherever about whatever.

Ineresting. Why is he kept around if he can't recruit and can't coach?

They see him as just one of the boys. They just didnt respect him as a coach. He didnt impress the kids who have a real high ceiling because his was so low. **** always be trying his best & doing his part though. Whatevers asked of him. Thats why we always preach involving our alumni base.

Kareem was very good friends with this particular kids father. Didnt help one sliver of a percent to get his help though. My bad for not explaining better. Let pete or whoever else confirm this for u. Than youll pull his johnson rather than responding like a butthurt cheerleader. Either way believe what u will and have a great night.

Nah. Kool #1 doesnt answer to anyone but richt. Hes considered on the same plate as diaz etc.#2 coaching wise hes fine. Got that in oodles. Problem is (and i think that was part of the problem at mizzou)hes very old school. Parts of the game might be passing him by to an extent. He needs help with all the recruiting aspects. He should prioritize the kids he wants than let staff work on elvauating & targeting those kids we have legit wants or needs towards. I personally feel hes overwhelmed with everything on his plate.

Its because people try to tie him into unfair expectations. They want him to ensure us getting ps2,tc & every kid hes ever came across. Its not enough that he gets us in that door. hes also gotta close the kids. ***** if its even his position .org recruitment hes in charge of. When he does get us kids he gets no credit for them either. The standard hes held to is absurd. Meanwhile he has turned a weakness into a strength with his coaching. Dude deserves a break.
