Ok, but did u not read the article about Swasey not being able to pass the certification test. That means that he couldn't even supervise the players while they were in the weight room. NFL players comes back to work with him, they could be anywhere else in the world, but they chose to work with him.

It is part of his job requirement and it is also mandated by the NCAA.
The NCAA does not want uncertified S&C coaches working for various reasons, among them
being for liability issues.
Him not taking care of that business defines his professionalism toward his craft.
I am in the IT field and I am subjected to requirements to keep up to date not only
in IT-specific classes and certifications, but also in security issues pertaining to
the Federal government. If I don't care of those requirements, I will not have a job
for long.
No different with doctors, lawyers, mechanics,etc.

The fact that Golden had his own strength and conditioning program is in and of itself ridiculous. I've never heard of a coach developing their own S&C program before. Obviously they have a vision of what the team should be physically, but the strength coach implements that.

Golden basically dictated everything going on with S&C apparently, and that's because even he knew Swasey was garbage.

The S&C community isn't that big. A lot of the top guys win awards, write books, give speeches, etc. Did Swasey do any of that?

Stop making it out that they travel all he way to Siberia to train with him. Its mostly Miami players who are from Miami or live in Miami anyway, its about convenience more than anything. This will ultimately be settled with what kind of job Swasey locks down next…..
