The search committees role is to provide a list and evaluations of each candidate. If Miami asked to do a workup on Jurich and they said "No" it makes no sense. If the search team doesn't like him, make that case in an evaluation, not say "We Quit if you interview this guy".....something doesn't add up.

Unless the realtor is a selling agent and the buyer is someone who was in the house before they got the listing and is on the exclusion list.

Manny can do it all, who needs assistants? And as a bonus Manny is willing to do it for just half the price you would pay any assistant. Can't pass that deal up!
 
This news said one thing to me Someone on the Bot is undermining the university. They may have paid off Turnkey to do this. Most likely in favor of Many returning too.

Right but my point is "if you even look at this house" / "if you even interview the guy".....Miami isn't saying they'd hire him base on OP, bit the search firm is gonna throw away commission just cause we go and look? Doesn't make sense

The FIU AD job is listed which came open recently so it looks like they do update their list but it may not be up to the minute either.

BTW, the FIU gig requires a master's or advanced degree. I wonder if UM has a similar requirement and whether Jurich has the appropriate qualifications? Maybe that's a stumbling block? I'm guessing.

You’re possibly looking at it wrong. I don’t know what is going on… not sure if too smart or too stupid to follow this story. I’m just saying if the school is going to go with Jurich, the school contacted Jurich before and he was excluded from the SOW, and the search firm will not be paid if it is Jurich, then why would they stay engaged in the process? If they aren’t getting a commission then of course they don’t want to put in more work.
