I think he's always talked about us rather favorably. He said in this show "Georgia doesn't have the kind of players Miami does" in reference to Georgia non existent pass rushanother ESPN SEC shill
Why the hate? Pate has been one of the most balanced college football analysts that I have listened to. Has been a believer in what Mario has been trying to accomplish for some time and has always spoken highly of the Canes. He has had Miami ranked in the top 3 for the past couple of weeks and believes they are one of the best programs in the country.another ESPN SEC shill
Yeah, it is annoying how many Miami fans label every TV talking head an SEC schill. Pate literally gave Florida the Sarah McLachlan special two weeks in a row, but somehow he is an SEC schill. Funny because many SEC fans and fans of Florida and FSU call Pate a Miami schill.I think he's always talked about us rather favorably. I listen to his show most weeks. He definitely changed his tone as the every man in CFB to favoring the SEC. It happens, it’s where the big $ is.Yeah, it is annoying how many Miami fans label every TV talking head an SEC schill. He picked Clemson and GT in the acccg, but yea last season and after beating nd he’s been positive on the canes. Why the hate? Yet he’s taking his show to an ACC school and he always talks positively about Miami and Mario. You don’t know what you’re talking about.another ESPN SEC shill
Is someone a schill if last week they had Miami ranked #1 and Ohio State #2?Someone please humor me, what is an “SEC schill?”
I guess it’s possible he can be both.He picked Clemson and GT in the acccg, but yea last season and after beating nd he’s been positive on the canes.
He also started the sec propaganda last season, and signed w espn before the season, so he’s no longer an independent voice in cfb.
All that I can forgive tho… the real problem is that his head is too small, and I can’t forgive that.
He still owns his show. He signed a distribution deal with ON3/Rivals and signed with ESPN as a contributor. He picked Clemson and GT in the acccg, but yea last season and after beating nd he’s been positive on the canes.

I watched enough Pate last season to know why espn signed him… but also, I didn’t mean to hurt your feelings.Yet he’s taking his show to an ACC school and he always talks positively about Miami and Mario. You don’t know what you’re talking about.
After hearing him last season, it all makes senseHe still owns his show. He signed a distribution deal with ON3/Rivals and signed with ESPN as a contributor.
By your logic, he was never an independent voice because, before signing with ESPN, he was under a distribution deal with CBS at the same time CBS had a deal with the SEC.
He’s become more vocal. But he’s from right down the road from me. It doesn’t get more SEC Country than that area. I’m not surprised he has more of a SEC slant.I listen to his show most weeks. He definitely changed his tone as the every man in CFB to favoring the SEC. It happens, it’s where the big $ is.
