Personally I would say it’s anyone who just spent the last week gassing up UF as a great team but I don’t think that’s what they’re referring too…
….and why would one do that??!!?!?

Heard he had to do a sacrifice to get on ESPNanother ESPN SEC shill
You might prefer Brooks Austin he does ball knower stuffI really don't get the whole talk in front of a camera and ramble about college football thing.
I mean, I don't mind round tables and discussions about college football. Or taking phone callers and talking about football.
But just long monologues and talking about stories lines and narratives? Not really for me.
I have nothing against him. Just not really my style of sports journalist or commentator or podcaster.
The show ESPN gave McElroy is similar to me. I mean it makes a little more sense since he is a commentator and former player who played at an elite program. But I still find it a tad boring and cringe when a guy just rambles for an hour in front of a camera.
Does that include DMoney and all of the other Canes-related media? Can someone investigate if Canesinsight traffic increases after Miami fails? When will you guys learn that all media, everywhere are just waiting for us to fail...
Most of it stems from last year when he was a heavy advocate of playoff spots for a 8-5 Uf, 9-4 South Carolina and a 10-3 ole miss team. While highlighting our deficiencies, rightfully so and overlooking those greatly flawed teams as mentioned. Why the hate? Pate has been one of the most balanced college football analysts that I have listened to. Has been a believer in what Mario has been trying to accomplish for some time and has always spoken highly of the Canes. He has had Miami ranked in the top 3 for the past couple of weeks and believes they are one of the best programs in the country.
“Pate is very fair to Miami”
Yeah, he’s a front-runner when things go well and that’s it. Last year he really pushed the Miami wins because of the refs narrative. His coverage post-VT was anything but fair. You all just get enamored because he makes a comment or two favoring Miami.
Look at it as a verbal newspaper editorial.I really don't get the whole talk in front of a camera and ramble about college football thing.

Don't understand your comment, Pate is usually fair when talking about Miami, gives us lots of praise from what I saw. I remember him saying he'd buy stock in Cristobal at Miami over Lincoln Riley at USCanother ESPN SEC shill
I mean he said the samething our fans were saying, that our defense sucked in a nicer way lol“Pate is very fair to Miami”

he loves the SEC but he does respect our program, coach and players. hey lets face it the ACC is pretty bad this year. and you have to respect his career trajectory. he cracked into the establishment from outside the establishment. he is like the zach Bryan of pundits.I think he's always talked about us rather favorably. He said in this show "Georgia doesn't have the kind of players Miami does" in reference to Georgia non existent pass rush
Agree. Sold his soul to the SEC. Not sure what he got in exchange for the soul-selling but dude has been glazing SEC teams night-in and night-out.another ESPN SEC shill
its for people who love college football. I like his show especially the recap show on SundayI really don't get the whole talk in front of a camera and ramble about college football thing.

Yes. Showing Miami ranked 1 is essentially chum in the water for our haters. It drives traffic seeing our logo up there. Still a SEC schill. Is someone a schill if last week they had Miami ranked #1 and Ohio State #2?
I love College Football.its for people who love college football. I like his show especially the recap show on Sunday
When has the ACC been good?he loves the SEC but he does respect our program, coach and players. hey lets face it the ACC is pretty bad this year. and you have to respect his career trajectory. he cracked into the establishment from outside the establishment. he is like the zach Bryan of pundits.
yes I was being diplomatic. When has the ACC been good?
The top 8-10 teams in SEC are better than the 4th best team in ACC easily. Mississippi State and Vandy would probably be competing with GT and FSU as the 2nd best best team in the ACC.
You see his takes and leaps of logic after Vandy beat Bama last year?Someone please humor me, what is an “SEC schill?”
