Nobody said it was about coddling and protecting egos. Enhanced job titles are also about payroll and budgeting, particularly at a state school where salaries are public information.

Used to work with Clyde Simmons, great great dude. People forget about him when talking about those Eagles squads. Was a bit before my time but the numbers speak for themselves.

Clyde was nasty!!! Him and Reggie tore it up in that D-line. Then a gentle man when I met him as a kid at training camp. I grew up watching Randall and that nasty Defense of Buddy Ryan.
