Jordan Seaton to Portal to Knoxville Car Wreck Guy (LSU)

Didn't think the oline would be a question going into fall but here we are. Problem is we've been spoiled lol. I'm sure they'll figure it out. I do agree the 24 class had too many misses. Main issue is depth.

Not just 24, 23 as well. Cici and Samson were 5 stars, if you look at the overall history of 5 star OL they rarely miss. So you would really have to **** up there development for them not to pan out.

The rest of the 23 OL class Tripp, Kinsler and Tinilau have all transferred. From the 24 class, Plazz and Francavilla have transferred. Bell obviously worked out, but he's on to the draft. Leaving only Minaya on the roster from 24.

You can sugarcoat how you want, but not one of the OL projects we took in those 2 classes panned out.

Wonder if the board will bring the “are we really questioning the staff regarding o line” energy when it’s D saying it

Of course not, nothing but crickets. Yet you had a thousand of them in this thread alone.

The fact is and its undeniable, none of the OL projects in the 23 and 24 class brought in have panned out. Even though still young, I don't anticipate any of the 25 ones will either based on what I heard early on and finally the influx of OL talent from high school brought in, in the 26 class.

Minaya is not a miss. He will be in the mix for one of the tackle spots. Spring and fall will be a battle for the starting tackle spots

Being in the mix when there are no tackles with any experience on this roster does not mean he is not a miss. He is simply a "vet" right now. But if Minaya gets any real PT at T, I promise you we are in trouble. He is not a starting caliber T in the ACC.

6'6 335 with a basketball and track background. If you want to write him off, that's fine. I'd rather see how players develop on the oline before jumping to conclusions

He is not starting here. And again if he is, we are in trouble. You can of course hold out hope.

Pretty sure Minaya is a OG anyway? Look, like several have said - our OL situation isn’t ideal at all and it’s okay to say that we have ?, because it’s true, especially the quality depth behind the starters. Me personally, I will let this staff do what they do and give the group a chance before I scream bloody mary.

Also, McCoy/Samson/RRod are 5th year, 4th year, and 6th year player respectively. These aren’t kids that are new to CFB. They are grown men who have been in this system for a long time. Yes, obviously there are 2 more spots with 1 likely going to a true freshman but again, let’s just see what they can cook up. I think this is the one position group that deserves that, a lot of time left before 1st game and a weak schedule up front to begin with 🤷🏾‍♂️.

People should be uneasy about the OL. We lost a lot.
Thats why I dont understand why when you say you're concerned about the o-line some people get offended, and say you should never be concerned about a Mirabal o-line even when we lose everyone from 2025

I don’t know where the Minaya at T stuff came from. I do believe he is in contention or will at least be by fall camp, at guard. If he doesn’t portal, something is there.
