Jon Richt reveals regarding position battle

Exhibit A: Cuckbo wins NC with once-in-alifetime talent at QB and years of top ranked recruiting classes.

Exhibit B: Cuckbo has had super talented highly ranked squads for most years he's been there, including this year's squad. What has he done without one transcendent QB? Consistently underperformed relative to his talent.

Miss me with all the FSU praise.

Fūck FSU and fūck Cuckbo.

If they follow past history they will again underperform this year and not sniff an NC.

Who will be their North Carolina and Louisville this year.

Three losses and no NC.

He might have to leave in and evac helicopter if he throws as many pics as he did this spring.

I don't think people understand how overmatched our line is going to be in that game. FSU's dline is going to be filthy this year. If I were Richt, I'd be installing my DJ Dallas wildcat packages right now.

their dline is likely better than ours...Add to it...they blitz alot and bring that guy Derwin James on blitzes..they were doing it all spring in their spring game....we gotta get the ball out their quick in that game..They have recruited the dl the last few classes on the level of Bama...Its FSU, Clemson, Um for the best dl in the acc
I really rarely disagree with you on evaluation, so I'm curious why you think their DL is better than our DL? Not that it matters, as each play the other team's OL. To be clear, I painfully acknowledge they have an outstanding DL. Just not sure about their DL vs our DL.

They return 7 of their top 8. Nnadi was first team all ACC, and Brian burns had 9.5 sacks as a true fr.

I'm not saying they are better or worse than our DL, just saying they are deep and talented.

As I've mentioned a bunch of times, I've re-watched all their games over the summer. I understand what their defense is capable of doing - especially their projected secondary (though I see a debatable vulnerability). I'm simply questioning whether their DL is better than our DL. Nnadi's All-ACC selection doesn't necessarily make him better than Norton any more than Roy Williams winning the Thorpe over Ed Reed was evidence of Williams being superior.

I think:

Chad Thomas/D-Jax/DJ Johnson/Patchan
Norton/Moten
Mcintosh/Bethel
Joe Jackson/Trent Harris/Garvin

is greater than

Josh Sweat/Jalen Wilkerson
Christmas/Aime
Nnadi/Jones
Burns/Kaindoh
or whatever variation makes it out of their fall camp.

Miami "fans" who constantly suck off our rivals at every opportunity are the absolute worst.

I can't wait to beat FSU this year with Rosier at QB.

Remember Njoku was 3rd team all-ACC.

So using those selections to justify how good someone is is pretty laughable

Rosier is the least likely to leave Doak in an ambulance, so I go with him. Keep string bean as far away from the field as possible in FSU game no. 1. It's going to be open hunting season for both defensive lines in that game. Perry can take over the next game and gain some experience before FSU game no. 2 while Rosier gets treated for PTSD.

He might have to leave in and evac helicopter if he throws as many pics as he did this spring.

Maybe some people should read this again with a dictionary because it seems like some people didn't even understand a single word.

Their talent is legit, imo, it's more their DC. The guy sucks and should get more out of the talent he has. Its why I think bama is going to crush them and why I think we have a solid chance of beating them. Their defense just doesn't impress me.

I just picked up Phil steeles preview magazine. Noles are loaded. Best secondary in the country, loaded DL, experienced LB unit. We will have our hands full.

Va Tech looks like a solid team too. Their QB declared for the draft and went undrafted, which plays well for us. But they are very solid at lb and have one of the best secondary's in the nation.

UNC looks too depleted, lost switzer, the QB, and the top rb. We should handle them.

That's all I got through so far.

From the horse's mouth, Jimbo believes he has the best defense he's ever had. And I agree. FSU is a legitimate national title contender if its online can hold up. I really hope Miami wins the Coastal because, among other obvious reasons, I think it will set up a watershed rematch against a No. 1 ranked FSU squad.
Their defensive coordinator will cost them a game maybe two. He's a massive liability imo.

He ran circles around Richt last year..... Just saying. His play calling got noticibly more aggressive starting with our game last year.

I didn't say their talent is anything but legit. You're likely to be more impressed by their defense now that their best DB is healthy.

This...our O-Line couldn't handle anybody during that 4 game losing streak, much less FSU's.

Searles still has a lot to prove to me, IDK why He has such a strict adherence to His Tackles staying square to the LOS. Even the greatest LT in the history of UM Football (McKinney) played perpendicular to the LOS when He had to.

I trust coach to make the right call. He's been doing this a long time at a high level. He's not going to just throw Perry out there if he's not quite ready and slow down his growth. There are still 3 weeks for him to make strides and truly earn the job if he does so. On the flip side, it's great to see the vets stepping up and making positive progress. I believe when the time comes we will have multiple guys capable of getting the job done. With the defense we should have, we don't need someone to go out and win the game, we just need someone to manage the game, not turn it over, and not lose the game by doing too much.

I disagree, we needed Kaaya to win at least 2 of the games (ND & UNC) during that 4 game losing streak.

You are correct. I was referring to this year. More of the bad seeds gone. More growth with the guys in the program. More talent on the roster. 2nd year under the regime. THIS year, with what we have IMO we don't need anyone to win a game, just not lose it. OL should be better, WRs have more talent, and the defense should be even better.

If we can get him to carry the ball securely and have some good ball security we’ll be alright.”

Didn't say this in regards to anyone else.

Rosier actually played a good game against Duke with a week of practice knowing he would start.

I never understood last year why he didn't get in more games knowing Brad was more than likely gone. Even if it is clean up in the 4th to get a few throws in and run the offense. I would have no problem with Rozier starting.

Ignoring his INT, 13 yard sprint into our endzone and grounding that caused a safety, and -12 yards rushing on 5 carries w a long of 3 yards

He played okay.

They also said Steve Walsh had a noodle arm and the mobility of a parking meter. Same with Dorsey. I don't think they are ready to name a starter yet so they will have a better idea after a few more scrimmages.

Don't play Perry unless he plays a lot it will ruin his redshirt year.

Translation:

Shirreffs has a noodle arm, has a hard time getting the ball deep downfield, and can't throw on the run for shīt.

Perry is a fumbling machine and is nowhere near to picking up the playbook.

Rosier gets in his own head, gets down on himself, and benefits from repetition.

One of these is not like the others.

One of these, right now, looks like he's headed to be the starter.

Of course, there's at least a couple of more weeks of practices, scrimmages, and evaluations to go. But right now, one of these is in the lead.

So you're telling us Cade is the man. :D
