Jon Richt got beat out by the *** kid that won the Dr Pepper challenge.
You have to be joking with your lazy attempt at protecting a beyond mediocre position coach on our team...C'mon man...Jr is trash...absolute trash.

Jedd Fisch as well. What were Mike Leach’s college stats?
His stats means he can’t play QB. His inability to develop a QB means he can’t coach.Bro, I get you, Jon boy sucks. But, his stats don’t mean he can’t coach.

Dude couldn’t figure the position out at a place called mars hill. Not exactly a high level of football. That does say something.Dude, OP is saying that only a good QB can be a competent QB coach. No one is defending Jon Richt; we are simply saying that a QB coach didn’t have to be a star when he played in order to be a competent coach.
No one believes Jon Richt is doing even an adequate job coaching QBs.
But some on here have nothing better to do than to sit around trying to think up creative ways to bash the Richts. This latest attempt is another lame example.
tbh, Richt sr was buried in the depth chart in miami, and barely played, and went on to be a successful head coach. I am not buying the sucky stats equals bad coach.
I think its bad coach = bad coach. Plenty of guys who never even played their position who turn out to be excellent coaches.
