K
But Osborn still contributed with good plays today. If Jeff isn’t dialed in the he completely phones in the game. The skill set is there it’s the mental side that lacks
KJ has taken all PR reps. Mean to tell me JT doesn’t take a PR back in the past 2 wks?

KJ is good but he’s gotten chased down on some PR.

Anyone else see him sitting there looking miserable while everyone else was smiling and laughing after one of our TDs? I was having Dionte Mullins flashbacks
His cousin was killed yesterday and he look like he was in good spirits after the game , he was dancing with Harley on Snapchat

LVille must have made him priority and locked him down. That’s why everyone else ate.
that’s something he will need to learn to cope with. You got as much skill as he has teams will focus on you. Not just here but anywhere

Jeff Thomas was the only one that showed up against LSU. Let's not act like he hasn't been productive.
Let's not act like hasn't been nconsistent and a distraction either (he lost the Florida game) - like the Miami spots show guy said, if they didn't ask him back, we beat Florida.

Wish I could throw some of y'all ******** in East St Louis for a few hours so you can understand this young man's issue.

I'll always be a Jeff fan just because the odds of him accomplishing anything out of there are like 5%.
You think E. St. Louis is any harder than the hoods most our guys grew up in? Unfortunately, most these kids have the cards stacked against them from jump street, but life is how you respond to adversity. Not criticizing JT4, but also not going to pretend that his circumstances are somehow wildly different than a lot of the other dudes in our program coming out of overtown, carol city, opa locka, etc. who have chosen to try to make the best of their situation, regardless of the circumstances they were dealt. He has already likely overcome the most difficult odds to get to this point, but where is he right now, at the end of the day, the kid is at an inflection point whether he buckles down and balls out in the league with the talent he has, or flames out and returns to the hood. If the latter, still will not criticize him for not beating the odds against him, but at this point it’s largely a function of the decisions he makes from here on out, like so many of these kids choose to do coming out of similar situations at UM, and generally across the country.

Will be rooting for him.

it is harder my man. East STL doesn’t have the avenues out that inner city Miami has, South Chicago, etc. Yes, hoods are hoods, but there is a community of good in Miami and Chicago, aside from all of the crime, murders, drug wars, etc. Football leagues, mentors left and right, b-ball leagues in Chicago, mentors, churches. East STL does not have that scale which makes it much more difficult on these poor kids and their upbringing.

Of all the stupid debates that can happen-- this is the STUPIDEST....

Receivers don't decide if the QB throws to them-- nor do they decide the coverage being played against them...

WR who DON'T get thrown to are usually being clamped down by the D-coverage because they are a known danger.

Overall disagree with the delineation of your premise, but good, valid and logical points you make. Just think that comes down to individual situations, when the original point was made as a generality.

In the end, just hope the kid makes it.
