Lebby doesn’t even calls plays. Forget HC, haven’t we seen enough of this lately in our past OCs?

Rhett Lashlee was “OC” at Auburn and SMU and never called plays.
James Coley was “OC” at FSU and never called plays.

Who within our current administration even knows who Jeff Lebby is let alone would deem him the frontrunner to replace a yet to be fired corch?

I GUARANTEE if you mentioned the name "Lebby" around Hecht or at any BoT gathering that 98+% of the individuals would think you're talking about LeBatard.

So we can be in dog fights with California and Fresno State?


Jesus the answer is right in you face and he was here for the greatest team ever assembled. Mark Stoops is the answer here. He’s beaten in recruiting battles and even evaluated Jordan Wright miles better than we did. The guy is continually finding NFL guys while being a 3rd tier SEC team. He might not be Saban but I haven’t seen a coach have the same success he has at a 3rd tier school since a coach by the name of James Franklin and look how fast he turned around PSU.

All the cristobal guys and Kiffin guys are falling for football glitter and pixie dust. The guy we should hire now and probably should’ve hired 3 years ago is located in Lexington and probably would win 10 games here from the start with the teams we play.

Aside from Ed Reed, Sean Taylor, Antrel Rolle, Meriweather, P. Buchanon, 5 players from the team up north I won't name, Bud Dupree, and Josh Allen. Who has he recruited and developed? Obviously, I am joking, but in all seriousness, it will take at least 5.5M to get that man over here.

Stoops would kill it here, I just don't take we will pay up to get him.

Lebby has called the plays the last 2 seasons at Ole Miss. Lane has said it publicly. I'm sure Lane has major input on GameDay though

Lebby has 100000.0% called plays for Ole Miss the last 2 seasons.

Rhett 1000000.0% called plays at Auburn and SMU.

Let's not try to bring facts to the board, though.

Oh, and Lebby is a tremendous coach, by the way. When Lane is hired and he brings Lebby here, he'll be gone in a year or two as a HC elsewhere.

Bowden, Benny Snell, Anthony Johnson, Jamin Davis(one of the best LBers in the league), Lonnie Johnson, Za’Darius Smith, Landon Young, Logan Stenberg, Larry Warford

All from his tenure at Kentucky..

I like Stoops too but you may want to lookup all the close games he had in career.

I don't think anybody would take issue with Stoops. He would be in my top few choices for sure. I'd be happy with a number of guys at this point. Lane just seems like he would be a perfect fit at Miami. Just like I think Jimbo belongs at LSU. Of course I wanted Kingsbury way way back in the day. To me he was the perfect "face" for Miami. Young good looking dude with swagger. Seemed like the perfect match to me. Miami is a big lights place. We need a guy that can handle that with some sense of style. Overcompensation of fake swagger is what kills me now. Clown show.

Ummm what? His defenses are absolute dog **** and never have been on a competent level even at his stop at FAU. The one thing Kiffin is known for is if you can score with him then you’ll beat him just like Arkansas did and Arkansas couldn’t even repeat vs. Auburn. That’s they guy you want to hire? A gimmicky HC that has a **** defense that can’t stop anybody? That sounds oddly familiar. Oh wonder when we made that decision before l? Oh yea, it was Larry Coker and sank this place to the ground.

You might as well go hire Mike Leach.
