Jarvis Brownlee Holdout: Day 3

Brownlee sucks, so his gambit is that this is the best money-making opportunity of his lifetime. He's not going to the league.
He is getting a free education, room, board, food. He can easily turn that into 6 figures. No way is some nil for a bench warmer the best money he will ever get. He should just focus on a good degree and make connections for life after football. Just ****ing his future away.

All joking aside, why wouldn't the players "with options" seek to transfer to the school that provides them the best overall economic incentives?

Are the Louisvilles of the CFB going to be able to keep their star player if a big NIL school wants their services??

The scary side of NILs for schools who either refuse to jump into this game (Clemson) or schools who just might not have a war daddy at their disposal (Louisville).

College football could turn into MLB soon. Where the schools who dont have the money or dont want to spend the money..end up being minor league systems for the big schools who do have it. Players play one year at a school..ball out..and then move on to a school that offers the bag.

But I predict when it gets to this point..regulations start coming into play. I dont see this getting too out of hand.

IMO where are already on the path of this happening. The last 5 years there are only a handful of teams able to compete at a championship level

AGAIN THIS DOESNT EFFECT CLEMSON AT ALL.

THEY PAY THEIR PLAYERS. HOW ELSE DO YOU THINK THEY WERE ABLE TO GET LAWRENCE AND THAT DLINE TO RETURN. THEIR KIDS ARE TAKING CARE OF WELL WITHOUT SUPPOSED NIL DEALS...THEY PAY THEM DIRECT CASH MAN. lol

Dabo is just ****ed because now all those under the table bag's they've been handing out for the last few years to get to the top are available to everyone in plain site...

I think Dabo doesnt mind paying players who have proven their worth and have shown value to Clemson. But I am interested to see him openly drop 1M+ deal on a HS kid with the way he has been doing the media rounds about how this is ruining college football. He will obviously adapt in time, but according to him..that is his stance. Having a 30M recruiting payroll of recruits isnt in the cards right now.

a couple of 7-4 seasons and Dabo will go "aw shucks" and start finding NIL deals for all his recruits
