Jarren Williams is a stud.

Yeah Jarren under threw that ball to Harley, but his footwork mechanics where not necessarily correct there as he’s feet wasn’t set, throwing a little off his back foot and he didn’t step into the throw like that whatsoever

His second year in the program. Kids like Slovis at USC and the UNC QB are more advanced than Jarren, right out of HS. Bottom line is we haven't really had a standout QB since Dorsey, almost a generation ago. Be nice if our OL could give Jarren time to do something other than dink and dunk. Or, to find out he can't do more than that and give Kosi or Martell a shot.

UNC’s QB is asked to make one read. The reason he’s staring down his WR is because they are adjusting their routes based on the coverage. He isn’t more advanced than JW. The offense is dumbed down for that OC’s QBs, and he changes the play for them on the sideline before the snap.

You guys are actually whining about more deep shots when WRs are dropping deep shots and short throws. Execution matters more.

All the reports talked about how gifted a passer he is.

That much is evident. But also, Jarren seems like a very cerebral player. He thinks a lot. You can see it when you watch him play.

Sometimes he thinks a little too much like the pass to Mallory that he could’ve ran in for two.

We have to remember he’s a young guy. Just like Kaayas first year. This will be a year of growth for him and as he gets more confident he can only get better.

I really really like this kid through two games. His junior year will be special. Which is perfect as that’s when we play Bama with a legit QB.

Pumped to watch him grow. I know everyone is frustrated but Jarrens development alone is reason enough not to abandon Miami football like so many of you guys want to.

So far his first year looks better than kaaya’s first two games if i remember correctly

Jarren Williams still doesn’t look confident on the field. Still looked like he’s thinking a bit, playing safe. The true freshman QB on UNC, looked more in command of his offense despite having a worse team than Jarren.

Dan Enos is over thinking it. Everytime Miami got inside 20 yards, it’s multiple motions when you should be keeping it simple.

Based on comparative effectiveness, maybe our OC should dumb down our offense for Jarren as well.

Don't believe he had more Command of his offense. You don't get nearly 500 yards of offense by not having command of the offense. He ran it very well, we came up short in red zone situations and our D let us down.

Yeah - Sam doesn’t have better command. He’s asked to do less.

You guys are living in La La Land. Proficient? Kid is better than our last NC winning QB. He has far less to work with across the board. WTF are you brothers fugging talking about. He literally THREW the go ahead score. ALL he needed was his ******* TEAMMATES to get off the field on 4th & SEVENTEEN!

JW didn’t lose the game. Missed FGs, ****** defense, and a fraud *** DC did.
Sometimes I think the Perry/Martell groupies are the ones still out here trying to find any tiny *** flaw this QB does and sully him for it. It's completely undeserved. Jarren has been the one bright spot on our roster that has otherwise seen mediocrity.

What about the very real possibility that our next excellent QB is not on this roster? Ever consider that? The assumption that one of the current four guys is the answer just may be false.
