Jarren Williams and the continued mismanagement of the QB position

Ummm, to get him experience if Kosi either gets hurt or doesn't pan out

Lol at experience, y’all swear playing two snaps is getting experience needed to do his job smh 🤦‍♂️

Where do y’all make up this fantasies “if NKosi gets hurt these two snaps will help him play an entire game”??

So you've learned nothing from Perry?

Richt has many, many faults, but aren't you starting to see why he hesitated to put Perry in? The kid has the tools, but he hasn't put it together yet and Richt was seeing that in practice. But no, CIS knew better. CIS knew that Perry was perfect and stupid Richt was just too dumb to put him in. Then he got in an had some flaws and guess what? CIS couldn't handle it, Perry was now the worst.

So just maybe there's a reason Williams isn't playing. Maybe he's not automatically ready to go just because fans can't bring themselves to believe we don't have any good QB options right now.
This. Richt had good well coached quarterbacks at Ga. He knows what he’s doing.

Throw JW in there during the fourth quarter to get some game time experience.

NO the game is not over in the fourth quarter?? Are we blowing teams out to the point a lead is safe then why would we throw the 4th qb on the depth chart in a game and risk the outcome of the game?

If Perry isn't ready it's Richt fault

Plenty of OCords worth their weight take their starting quarterback out in the fourth quarter when they have a nice evening lead.

Where? Clemson was blowing USCe out and Lawrence played the entire game.

At Bama, Jalen Hurts got one pass against Auburn the entire game.

Nobody is subbing out their starting QB at this point in the season... this is only in ur head bc u got some delusional idea that you know how to run a fb program better than the coaches we got at Miami lol 😂

I recall one of the brightest minds in college football doing it with Kyler Murray.

Rosier was worse.

You’re comparing schools with a clear established starter to us, where no one truly knows what we have in N’Kosi or Jarren. Apples and oranges.

This was Perry's opportunity to show off his arm and take control of the offense. He showed that he can not make mistakes but he is inacurate a lot of the time.

Meanwhile, Williams is on the sideline pacing with his head down pondering where he's transferring to.

Teams also making a case for the playoff with style points, should they trip up in their conference championship game. Whereas we're fighting for the Duck Commander Bowl, or whatever redneck business is sponsoring it this year.

We all rightfully thought that once Jarren's redshirt wouldn't have to be burned that he'd get some burn in a game. Then came a questionable suspension. But yesterday? What was the reason for not putting him in the game?

The writing was on the wall with 11 minutes to go yesterday after we had went up 14 and had the ball. What was painfully noticed was Richt was already running the clock down to 1 second before calling the timeout as if there were 4 minutes, even though the 4th had just started.

Little nuances like this give you clues as to Richt's thinking about how to manage this offense, so long as he is in control of it.

Going up another score to put Williams in the game was the absolute last thing on his mind. No hunger whatsoever to diagnose and develop,...just as there was with NKosi the moment Richt named Rosier the starter even though anyone would half a brain knew that our 10 game streak last year was a mix of good play and the ball bouncing Rosier's way before the 4 straight losses.

New, advantageous rules in place, yet, a coach having a will to stick by the book he's stuck to for 30+ years.

Which is why I have no interest in talking X's and O's about his playcalling and see that we are dying for OLinemen, WRs with hands, and someone else that's completely in control of the offense, especially on gamedays.

He's trying to win the game and puts a premium on that, first and foremost. Richt doesn't like the appearance of running it up, but is okay with our players executing the offense in a passive beatdown; he's even willing to throw the fade to Langham on 4th down. The problem is we're not up enough to put in the #2 at qB. If it was 24-3 in the 1st quarter on the way to a blowout Williams would have gotten some run. We seem a year behind in that area and hopefully the OL continues to improve as expected.

“OL continues to improve as expected”???

Why is that expected?

No, I don't trust what Richt sees in practice and neither should you. Otherwise, why did he trot out Rosier for half the season when it was clear as day he wasn't the best option? We kept hearing how great Rosier was doing in practice from Richt himself.

Now we're supposed to believe that Jarren isn't as good in practice as Perry? Not buying it. And, even if that's the case, we're talking about practice, man. Not a game. (Spoken in my best Iverson voice.) Some dudes are practice warriors and some show out in games. I prefer me the latter.
