How "heady" is Cook? Is he a guy you trust back there running the show?

Absolutely. Central guys come ready to play. Look at Cook, Yearby, Darling, Bain and Nichols. They were immediate impact guys at the next level.

whats your take on the staff that Richt has assembled?

It's an SEC staff. Time will tell on the results. I love that our best coaches are coaching the two most important spots (QB and DL).

What do you think of Searles as a teacher/coach (not as a recruiter)?

Franchise is right though if mark is elite he has two months, thats more then enough time to cop this kid.

what sucks is that he only had 9 days before the dead period and will only have 17 more once it opens again for in-person contact. hopefully richt's written recruiting game is on point.

The dead period is not what you think it is. Richt can still contact him over the phone. He just cannot visit him in person. Dead period isn't really an excuse...I'm sure Richt and the staff have spoken to him several times over the past month.

i know exactly what the dead period is. i'm saying that swaying a recruit that has built a long in-person relationship with jimbo fisher and fsu, over the phone, social media messaging, and having less than a month to talk to him in person is extremely difficult.

FSU 4-star DB commit Jamel Cook talks Miami (VIP) Four-Star DB Jamel Cook Talks Miami

I don't have a sub there, but if anyone wants to summarize, that'd be great.

Basically said he is looking for a place where he can start as a freshman. Want to play 3 years and go to the nfl. Doesn't know much about rumph but likes the path he took going from miami to the nfl.

He wouldnt have to worry about competition or grades at Indian river community college, 3 years and done, he should check them out

Agreed. It is difficult.

However, we are still the hometown. I hope and believe that will have the influence necessary to reel him in...compounded by the positive changes in coaching staff.
