Jalen Hurts visiting Sunday

He had 139 and 150 passer ratings. Had a 40/10 TD to interception ratio, and completed over 60% of his passes. He was good enough as a passer.

Especially because he’s a true dual threat QB. He ran for 1,800 yards and 21 TDs during those seasons. That’s 61 total TDs in 2 seasons, and over 6,500 total yards. That’s quality QB play, IMO.
He wasn't good enough as a passer and thats why they went to tua. Easy to have a high completion percentage when you run as much as he did and throwing short passes.

Let’s see:

Option 1: go to oklahoma, study study study so that he can learn a new offense in time for the regular season while familiarizing himself with new wrs/tes.

Option 2: play in the same offense, familiarize himself with new wrs/tes.

Seems like a tough decision...
Exactly ☝️. Enos will remind him of this. Riley probably told him he could be 3rd Heisman winner in a row. Would love Hurts to be a Cane.

In case anybody hasn’t already said this, plug Hurts starting in the 2017 Pitt game, and all of 2018 and what’s our record?

I mean even with his deficiencies as a passer.

Here’s what I think.

We beat Pitt, still lose to Clemson, maybe by a closer score and possibly sqeak into the playoffs in 2017.

He would have been worth at least 2 more wins in 2018.

So people say coaching counts...and it does. But having the Jimmies and the Joes counts equally at least, sometimes more.

Especially at the QB position who has the ball in his hands 100% of the time on offense.

ppl complaining about Hurts passing? Our only qb with significant playing time in games has a 50% completion %..............................

People confuse the fact that they don’t like Alabama and look for a reason to **** on them with actual analysis.

1.) Tua is potentially a #1 pick, getting beat out by him is no knock

2.) he might now be Peyton Manning but he can run an offense that wins Coastal, which is really all that matters at this point in the discussion

It means he's a senior leader who's won a national title and is used to being in an environment that demands success

Complete opposite of us.

He would be an awesome presence on the field and in the locker room

pornhub may finally get his **** together and the other may not want to run from competition every other second he gets

All this gets decided by his visit to Coral Gables later today fellas. Here’s hoping Manny pulls out all of the stops. Hopefully he comes in early enough to tour the facilities and get a feel for the campus and it’s hotties.

Going to be hard to beat Oklahoma. 2 straight Heisman winners and the #1 offense in the country

Hope Enos has made an awesome impression this year

i think he comes here to work his QB coach. it would make zero sense to go there with rattler coming in and learning a brand new offense

Oklahoma would also risk losing rattler. He would have the reigns in 2020 but without playing this year would be eligible immediately elsewhere so if he wasn't thrilled with the staff he could bolt

That could also be in our favor I suppose
