Jaleel Skinner

Ya’ll gotta make up ur minds; is Cristobal running the offense or Dawson? B/c every time there’s a fck up it’s on Dawson, but now Cristobal has this penchant.

Dawson has NEVER used TEs in his offense, so which one is it? Also, U’re acting as Cristobal has this glowing report of utilizing TEs. His most usage of a TE came in 2019 w/ Breland. Other than that, they’ve been pedestrian at UO, too.
Tbh bro..ain’t nobody on this roster was ready to be featured at that spot. Every time we threw Riley Williams way it was a drop..Arroyo was injured..skinner was dropping **** this year and his fresh year..maybe it’s just as simple as our WRs were the most dependable pass options and the TEs need to be better and show they can command that position

We used the TEs in the passing game against BC and it had a significant positive effect on the offense. Need to see a lot more of that going forward.

One season is a little different than "never"

Also the same kid…covid season…8 GP, 22 receptions.

Not sure why u’re bringing up that kid’s Covid year when Dawson wasn’t the OC for Houston in 2020. Lol. But hey, let’s keep holding on to that “one season.” I love semantics on this board. Anyways, we’ll see next season how involved our TEs r.

Just maybe our QB was in a funk and only targeted X and the other team? I bet BC game is more how Dawson has envisioned our offense. Otherwise, we’d see arroyo leaving too

Are you serious about that?
'Dawson has NEVER used TEs in his offense'

He was the TE coach at Houston at one point.

Lol…are you ****** dense?

I'm talking about what could be possible. I understand it's not the norm or a strength. But the fact it has been done a couple years, shows that it can be done.

Which is what I came into this thread with.

And where is 2020 when he was passing game coordinator…Then put a little asterisk in there, junior…There were only 8 games played that year due to to covid Over the course of the year that is 40+ receptions. So back to back years including 2 in recent years Miami shows a willingness to implement it more if he has the personnel. No it likely won't be what we're used to, but it can/will be much better than this season.

Passing game coordinator.

I would bet serious money that the TE catch 25 balls next season…If I was getting a decent price like +300 or so I'd bet 35

Again it's not what UM is used to at TEU…But it won't be like this season. He had basically a slow defensive end playing tight end and an 18 year old.

Why do you think TE is a feature in every offense. You came back and posted those numbers...lmao.

Thank you.

Good player, just doesn’t fit Mario’s grand scheme. Seems like an ole miss type but he’ll do well wherever.

See the old Rell would’ve called u a dumb *** cape wearing mutha fcka, but the new Rell is going to say Santa Claus is real & be blessed.

How did TE U go to non existent. GD makes no sense
there was extenuating circumstances - skinner being too small and arroyo being hurt

but outside of that.. who cares? offense improved a ton and would have probably been top 10-15 range if it wasn't for our QB self sabotaging

why does everyone care so much about the TE position? yeah we got TE's drafted but we sucked most of those years
