Yeah, because a Top 30 offense at nearly 500yds a game isn’t enough. We need to force Skinner - a guy who can’t earn his way on the field - because that’s what will put Miami over the top.

What have you seen that makes you think he is such a weapon? He has gotten passed up by a Freshman and hasn’t responded.

McCormick is a blocking TE who has had to play more than expected because of Arroyo’s injury. No one thought he was second of Jeremy Shockey or Bubba Franks.

Most of the time, when McCormick is running a route, it's just as a decoy to pull a Defender & clear out a zone. He's pretty much dead last in the progressions & rarely if ever expected to actually get the ball.

The TE's are a safety valve in this Offense in terms of their actual role in the passing game, very few plays are designed to get them the ball.

But their #1 primary job first & foremost is Blocking.

Did anything but pull defenders out of their zone yesterday, especially when lined up out wide. Feel free to sub out if you are going to line him out wide. We do it nearly every other play with the rbs.

I agree, but in this Offense they have to have an extra blocker in for the run game.

Because we're not a full-scale Air Raid we've made a commitment to running the ball, therefore that means one aspect of the Offense has to be sacrificed & unfortunately that means the TE's will get the short end of the stick in terms of targets.
