What happened to him? Big time prospect and athletic that doesn't play at all
Have you seen him try to catch a football??Getting tired of he doesn’t block, could really care less. UM got McCormick out there running routes like a sloth. You got a weapon that’s a mismatch against the opponent DBs and LBs but instead of using him for what he’s good at UM decides to not use him bc he’s not the best blocker. Ridiculous

Most of the time, when McCormick is running a route, it's just as a decoy to pull a Defender & clear out a zone. He's pretty much dead last in the progressions & rarely if ever expected to actually get the ball.Getting tired of he doesn’t block, could really care less. GT didn’t even bother with the TEs they were zoning around the receivers all game, TE utilization is severely lacking in this offensive scheme.
I understand that, but imo that’s not very creative and not getting the most out of your TEs. TEs would be a way better decoy if they were an actual threat in the field. Most of the time, when McCormick is running a route, it's just as a decoy to pull a Defender & clear out a zone. The TE's are a safety valve in this Offense in terms of their actual role in the passing game, very few plays are designed to get them the ball.
But their #1 primary job first & foremost is Blocking.
Did anything but pull defenders out of their zone yesterday, especially when lined up out wide. Feel free to sub out if you are going to line him out wide. We do it nearly every other play with the rbs. Most of the time, when McCormick is running a route, it's just as a decoy to pull a Defender & clear out a zone. I agree, but in this Offense they have to have an extra blocker in for the run game.I understand that, but imo that’s not very creative and not getting the most out of your TEs. TEs would be a way better decoy if they were an actual threat in the field.
