I've been against hoping for losses but...

I'm not rooting and won't be cheering for a loss. Whatever will be, will be. I won't cheer on another team or boo when UM scores. Yeah, I'd take an u defeated season and a NC. That's not gonna happen. So, I'd rather a signature early loss to Bethune or fau, which would guarantee al being fired. And hopefully butch hired. 8 or 9 wins is our worst nightmare.

All it would take is an ankle sprain to Kayaa (that would sideline him) early on in either game to make either game close.

But a loss to Bethune is more unlikely than an undefeated season. Do I think we'll go undefeated? Most certainly not. But it's more likely than losing to Bethune. AFTER the Bethune game, we will be 1-0. Doesn't mean we'll win 14 more, but we simply will not lose to BC. Period. So if we're talking hypotheticals, it's not crazy to look at ones that are more possible. That's just my two cents.

But yes, if we lost to BC, fired Golden and hired Butch, you'd have an excited fan base. Heck, if we hired the guy from Montana we'd have an excited fan base.

I also have preferred to just root for the team but if i Knew that Al gets fire the very next day and replaced by Butch immediately (which is an impossible scenario) i'd be absolutely fine going for Bethune
