Anything good from Manny, in your opinion?I don’t need to read it again. Manny and Miami are so behind the power curve in respect to modern college football that they will undoubtedly get their collective asses kicked in this arena as well. Stay tuned.
Again.. Miami is implementing a tool to help players with their NIL. Just like the portal, manny and UM are early adapters of the NIL situation. Instead of *****lng about nothing, why don’t u look at what’s actually going on.
Also... you’re whining about the head coach significantly upgrading his staff, adding quality starting players and signing the best class in years... get a grip.

You guys are insane if you think this helps Miami. All this does it make it easier for other schools to pay players. It also gives players a reason to decline Miami. Do you really think a player is going to choose Miami over a school that might be two or three times earning potential?
I don’t root for losers. That’s exactly what Manny has been thus far. I know you guys see improvement, I just see a coach who struggled against average teams, got waxed twice and ended up losing to all three quality teams he faced. Diaz has had to scramble both off seasons because he’s been such an all around loser thus far.
I just want to know what you guys will roll out when Manny and his off season miracles gets crushed by Bama and you realize just how far this team is away from the top, in year 3 of this Temple level coach.
So please excuse me for not following the rest of you down the toilet. I have no idea why you guys put so much faith into a coach who is obviously over matched.
Sure, and that certainly helps. I think it comes down to the cost of x brings in y revenue. More eyeballs means that you need less conversions but you also need lower cost to match smaller markets. The question is why wouldn't a company use more well known talent that brings in more revenue? All of the above is based on on legit value based endorsements. I think the bigger question is who do you think between Big Bubba's Ford or South Florida Bentley is willing to use endorsement as a reason to over pay players for a 30 second radio spot.SFLA is a major media market with plenty of opportunities for these kids. Marketing is about eyeballs, right? There’s plenty of em here.
100%
Now bagmen can just be out in the open.
"Johnny Smith" [star linebacker] always gets his plumbing needs from Al's Pipe and Fixtures here in Decatur GA! When you have a clog, call Al!

You are right, the potential is there but tapping into it is the problem. If money was available in South Florida then Miami would be able to raise money for facilities a lot faster than they have. Big Julio may have graduated from UM but him and his customers, who are largely out of state ND fans, don't care as much. If Slick Willy has a better deal on a F150 then customers are going there. Meanwhile Big Bubba never went to Alabama but his family has been season ticket holders for 60 years and his customers will shop with him over Robert E. Lee Ford if they know his dealerships are supporting the Tide. There are 100 times as many big Bubbas Fords in the Tri-County area in South Florida as there are in Tuscaloosa.
Well maybe not big Bubbas Fords, maybe Big Julio’s Ford but you know what I mean. If you could calculate a GDP for Dade, Broward and Palm Beach County and compare it to the entire state of Alabama what do you think that would be? That’ll give you some idea as to the potential.
The potential is there, the question is how do we tap it?
That’s what they are doing. They are gonna have representation. It’s the NFLPA liteWho says they have to unionize?
Let’s see how it works for a couple of years as an individual proprietor first that’s what I would suggest.
Perra's betta keep it real for Gus!!!!There are 100 times as many big Bubbas Fords in the Tri-County area in South Florida as there are in Tuscaloosa.
