It's getting real

Sitkowski has a Top 10 NFL draft pick skill set imo. He's of that Darnold, Luck QB type mold. Just has to put it all together and produce.

Sitkowski reminds me of Matt Ryan. The tape looks really impressive, not sure what happened to cause such a discrepancy between his film and his stat sheet.

No disrespect but I truly hope arthur isn't our guy.

I'm leaning that way. Putting up crap stats in high school seldom works out at the next level. If we take him, I'm glad we have Weldon and Perry from this previous cycle that we could ride with along with Allison and hope that a '19 kid surpasses Arthur. I'm not going to bag on him too soon as I'd like to see what he looks like in his senior year.

In all likelihood Sits isn't seeing the field until at least the 2020 season let's be real. He'll have time.

Thing is though looking just at his tape (not ideal but it's what I have) he looks to have a GREAT set of tools as a QB which leads me to wonder about his stats. Certainly on paper throwing more INTs than TDs and having a 50% completion rating is pretty trrrbl...but if I didn't know his stats, he sure looks like a good, well-coached QB prospect in the way he throws.

This may be one of those cases - if Sitkowski is indeed a good QB on an awful team - where Richt is trying to lock up his guy BEFORE he blows up. Just conjecture but man his film and his stats are so far apart that there has to be more to this kid's story, IMO.

What QB do you think we get?

Sitkowski. Richt loves him

What's your opinion on him? His junior year was very unimpressive and that's putting it lightly. I've heard his former team was completely lacking talent, so it will be interesting to see what his production looks like with a loaded roster at IMG.

All I can really say is from seeing him without pads at IMG the kid has an amazing skill set. All the intangibles are there & he seems to be able to process what's being thrown at him relatively quickly. One way or the other well see this year. If he wanted an excuse he came to the wrong place.

I've seen Art plenty of times... and the kid looks the part but its extremly difficult to judge base on his team that threw maybe 7 times a game if they were lucky. No wideouts to throw to also.. Every Throw was a thread the need type due to lack of ablity to get open or separate. And another 80% of the time Art had to tuck and go...becuase protection broke down. bad situation..

I will say this - he is Tough as nails... and if he wasn't a Qb - he'd be a hellava TE..

Would really like that cat committed to California - Adrian Martinez - but thats probably impossible.

The Mixon Kid is a stud and would like him before Artie S

But I'd take a combo of Mixon and Artie S... and ride.

JC

You have said this twice now. The kid averaged just under 20 attempts per game this year. Are you sure you ever watched him? Or are you suggesting he had several 50+ attempt games to offset the ones you saw?

LOL Trust me on this... I've Send them Plenty. Actually on the field for some of them. **** I think I'm in one of his highlights.. If you want to count garbage time with like 3 min to go in the game and they are losing... then yea.
But If you knew ANYTHING about Old Bridge and the offense that they run ... yea 7 - 10 time seems right.

I def don't think Copeland is a top 3 WR nationally...

I think he's def a player, but I'm not sure I'd put him top 3 in a Pope, X Williams, Copeland, Hightower convo!

I'm just saying where most sites put him. For me he's probably 6 or 7
#1 Jaelen hall
#2 nephew
#3 st.brown
#4 Ross
#5 Marshall
#6 Xavier
#7 Pope
#8 Copeland
#9 Ross
#1 0 Austin honestly though this is a REALLY deep year for recievers. It's easily about 20 deep that could all be monsters & fluctuate in ranks.
#5

Dee...how did your nephew's season go last year? How does he like IMG comp'd to his original hs? Apologies if this has been asked and answered already.

Go Canes!

He already is a high rated QB with tons of offers.

I certainly don't know anything about his teams offense, other than your claims of his pass attempt numbers being hyperbole to justify something.

I don't think I know more about this kid than you or the staff for one second. What I would like to know is if anyone can think of the last time we saw a highly successful college quarterback who barely connected on 50% of his pass attempts and had twice as many interceptions as touchdowns.

I get that he might have poor receivers that can't create separation, but it is not like he is going to be looking at massive throwing windows at the next level. So in your observation of him, is his low completion percentage and terrible TD/INT ratio because he is an inaccurate passer, or makes poor decisions? I am not sure which is more discouraging.

If this is indeed our top target, hopefully he really wows at IMG this year because that stat line for a high school kid that is considered a top prospect is terrifying.

Very true about excuses. You make a great point about his skillset. I've seen him make some really great throws both in highlights and in camp videos, so I'm at a loss as to what happened with all the picks. Knowing what he's capable of, I wouldn't be surprised if he put it all together and had an amazing year at IMG. Really hoping so since he has high potential and seems to be our guy.
Workout warrior. Happens all the time. The scrap heap is littered with QBs who look like Elway in shorts and tshirts and crumble during games. I hate seeing too much stock being put into what a QB does in shorts.

I think If You bring Art in you need a 2nd QB because of the Unknown...

If its Mixon - then you don't need a 2nd QB...

You're not looking at his "tape." You're looking at highlights. His tape features a lot of bad throws and bad decisions.

If he starts at IMG and plays exceptionally then we can blame his supporting cast in New Jersey.

That's what I like the most about N'kosi... The kid is a winner. His 7on7 and highschool team, he led them to victory. Can't teach the desire to win.

Sitkowski might just not have that same dog in him.

Fair enough. I'd love to see a full game somewhere if anybody has a link.

I think we end up wit that Thompson kid at QB..

dude really likes miami

Casey Thompson, Southmoore, Dual-Threat Quarterback

I can dig it... I am big fan of his as well as DTR

All of those are secondary options in a way. We're locked in on sitkowski

don't DTR and Brevin Jordan want to play with each other in college?

They said it appeals to them but it's not like they are a package deal. Jordan we have a very good shot at regardless of dtr
