It’s over, but I respect Diaz’ heart

Stubbornness =/= lack of coaching

Golden produced a much better product than what we are seeing now and despite his stubbornness on that side of the ball, we still didn't have any performances as atrocious as UNC was last year nor we were made a national joke in regards to our tackling weekly. Again, identifying issues but not implementing a good product doesnt mean Manny is coaching worth a fvck. I dont understand why that is so difficult for some of ya’ll to grasp ...

I mean, what does it say that he identified these problems and we are still so bad? What does that say about his COACHING?
Golden had a better product? Every time we played a competent opponent it was like dying a slow death. In 2012, Notre Dame had 350+ yards rushing. KSU was just short of 300 also. In 2013 Duke had about 350. In 2014 Nebraska had about 350, Ga Tech went over 300. I can keep going. Some of the wins we gave up a ton of yards too.

Manny has the worst tackling team in CFB, losses to FIU and La Tech for starters. Talent identification and development is part of the job and Golden crushes Manny. You can stand with OP if you want.

We are dying slow deaths against opponents that suck with Manny, so what’s worse?

We gave up a ton, but my point still remains that we didnt have a performance as near as bad as we did last year against UNC. Did we give up 778 yards under Golden? 550+ rushing yards? Did we have 2 rushers go for 200+ yards against Golden with one of them going for 300+? Golden went 9-4 in year 3 and developed more kids than Manny could ever.

Make no mistake about it..Golden sucked, but just think about this logically for a second lol. 9-4 in year 3 under Golden. We will be lucky to win 4 games in year 3 under Diaz. What’s the excuse for that? What’s the excuse for statistically being the worst tackling team in the country every week? We are in the BOTTOM 20 in scoring defense, IN YEAR 3. Like what are we talking about here lol. Every fault that Golden had, Manny’s worse in every single category. Every flaw you list for Golden, I find a worse one with Manny lol. We literally do NOTHING good, in year 3, absolutely nothing. You listed all of those rushing yards we gave up, and none of them compare to the worst defensive performance in University of Miami HISTORY...thanks Manny.

Every coach that was here could recruit. The problem is none of them could develop the talent. Schematically, Golden was the worst. He was taking fast, aggressive kids that were used to a 4-3 scheme, making them get fat and putting them in a 3-4. Either way we're essentiallyarguing about what STD is better

Schematically, Golden was definitely the worst. But at a 3 year mark, he has the best record out of Diaz, Shannon, and himself...what does that say about Shannon and Diaz? Diaz, w the best scheme especially on offense...is going to have the worst, by far. What does that say about him and his coaching?

Golden 22-15
Shannon 21-17
Diaz is 16-14 with 6 games left lol. He wont even get to 20 wins and will have 2 losing seasons in 3 years.

I know we are debating the tallest midget here, but I’m not letting yall die on this hill. This man is the worst coach that this University has ever seen.

Down vote this, clown on it. Diaz is done at Miami, but I still carry respect for him. He identified most of the issues that plagued this program. Took us from a 3-4 to a 4-3 to a pro to a spread. LRicht gave him a lot of credit with growing the program.

**** didn’t work out with Diaz and he’s responsible for that, but the guy tried and he loves this program. He’s not a golden. Guy was fully Invested, this was the top of the mountain for him.

I’m not going to kick a guy while he is down. A lot of
People will be bias, but this is the “best” I’ve felt about things in a long time.

I’ll die on this hill. Richt > Diaz > cooker > golden > Shannon.

I wanted Diaz to be the guy so bad
Factually WRONG. This statement alone says you are totally biased, defending him on pure emotions.

Golden’s defensive scheme and philosophy was awful. Manny’s worse as an overall HC. We can agree to disagree. It’s you and OP vs the board on Manny vs Golden.

Shannon had much better players. It’s not even close. He’s the worst we’ve had in my lifetime. Shannon literally stopped working his last year. He didn’t give a ****.

Golden is a better coach than Coker. Doesn’t mean any team that Golden had could stay on the field with Coker’s teams.

🤷🏾‍♂️, your opinion. Shannon had better players but he had quality wins as well. Diaz aint got ****, it aint even close. Again, JMO. Agree to disagree.

I respect that this team is not quitting Which is diaz. He does most thing wrongs.

Excited for A Williams back and Rooster being the workhouse

Mack asked Manny if they will fire him on the handshake. Someone in the comments noticed it and I saw it too afterwards.

Mack following up with "Thats not fair" after a response by Manny which I cant see makes me presume that he gave a positive response to the question.

There is some bad blood right there. Would love to know what that was about.
