It’s finally here. College football starts for real TODAY! Here’s a handy schedule for televised games.

Each game has either a link or info. regarding the broadcasting information, so maybe somebody might find that useful.

Of note, with respect to the games on Saturday, August 27 (tomorrow), is that FAMU goes to North Carolina, I believe that’s the only other ACC game this weekend, with the other one being Duquesne at the semenholes.

Here are tomorrow’s games, really no big matchups as far as P5 teams. Unless I’m missing something.

Saturday, Aug. 27

Austin Peay at Western Kentucky | 12 p.m. | CBSSN
Nebraska vs. Northwestern (Dublin, Ireland) | 12:30 p.m. | FOX
Idaho State at UNLV | 3:30 p.m. | CBSSN
Stephen F. Austin vs. Jacksonville State (Montgomery, Alabama) | 3:30 p.m. | ESPN
UConn at Utah State | 4 p.m. | FS1
Wyoming at Illinois | 4 p.m. | Big Ten Network

I feel bad for them, finding out at the last minute that they have so many players ineligible. I don’t even know how that happens.

What was interesting, was a quote in that article that you posted, where FAMU coach Willie Simmons “told Posey that only seven offensive linemen are able to travel to the game, which is not enough to safely play a football game in his mind.”

The latest word though is that they are going to play. But it’s interesting that the actual FAMU head coach had already expressed concerns about safely playing the game.

My girl Siri does a great job finding the games.

Pretty sure FAMU didn't want to miss out on that $450k guarantee -- not to mention whatever penalty there would be for no-showing.

Know we got some Rattlers here.

I wondering if somebody in the athletic department decided to drop a dime about these guys being ineligible.

This is ridiculously last minute

Tell me how it's possible a program can make that level of a F-up? Someone's job needs to be on the hotseat for that ineptitude.
