Is UVA the team that rids the program of the Golden Cancer?

AG isn’t going anywhere.

You guys might not like it but the prevailing opinion in the mainstream press holds that AG had to fight through the “cloud” of the NCAA investigations after inheriting an empty cupboard from Shannon. The recruiting lag has hampered his ability to move forward but he is making progress. Then comes the improved record and stats around the defense. (cue the calling me a ****** etc.)

You have ALL heard it repeated a zillion times. Witness Manny Navarro’s (I know, I know, F@CK MANNY) recent tweet wherein he claimed a Scout told him there was no more improved team than Miami. It was the mantra on the ESPN broadcasts in weeks prior and even stats support the Defense has improved.

Bottom line is that the AD has given not even a hint of dissatisfaction with AG. You say there are no moral victories but Miami, he will say, showed improvement vs FSU as opposed to previous years.

Again, you hear it, you try to shout it down but it’s the prevailing opinion. I understand the frustration but its an argument that isnt getting traction.

Still, given all that, I don’t get cheering for the U to lose. Like it or not the chances for Canes success is tethered to AG for some time.

I say GO Canes ….no matter who is coaching

All the admins should be concerned with is: How are the recruits responding to this AWESOME display of gridiron prowess?

Answer: fvck Gorlden.

The calls will now go the 'Canes way...Swofford has to keep F$U's strength of schedule numbers up for the CFP. As Cane Dynasty pointed out before Saturday, Ron Cherry follows orders and the ACC officials for the next two games will do the same...

That first statement isn't exactly accurate.

Golden is going. He's leaving Miami. If he does not get fired THIS year, he certainly will next year.

Per WTH:

2nd leading rusher in the ACC
Top rated passer in the ACC
ACC leader in passing touchdowns
3rd best offense in ACC
3rd best defense in ACC
Top 40 Offense in nation
15th ranked defense in nation.

And we're a sukazzss 6-4 team.

Really? No, we're a good team, but we're poorly led by Foldin.

If he survives getting fired in a few weeks, he'll be fired for certain next season. He's just like Clappy, and Randy before him - he's not up to the job. And no recruits can compensate for that.

Unlikely.

Those Coker and Shannon teams were clearly nose-diving toward the end and recruiting had completely fallen apart.

That doesn't seem to be the case right now. The team looks a lot better and we're still landing big commitments.

Golden could take the 1972 Dolphins and lose four games.

****, what are you seeing that makes you t . . . you're looking for players to overcompensate for his really crappy coaching. Separate the two. Golden couldn't coach his way out of a two-hole sihthouse.

The one where we currently have a top 15 class this year and a loaded '16 class so far.

I am not arguing that final point. I am arguing that isn't prevailing opinion in the mainstream press or, by all indications, UM's AD. Only way AG goes in the short term is on his own accord.

How have those top 15 or 20 classes worked out for us the last few years, ****head?

Why would a team that has never won the Coastal hire a corch who hasn't either with SoFl talent?
