If Ohio State wants to waste a scholarship on a kid that won’t see the field at age 17, that’s on them.

Under this logic hundreds of scholarships are wasted yearly all around the country by redshirting kids.

USC had a kid QB work to graduate from HS a year early. He was from the same Louisiana high school as Brock Berlin.

What about kids from rich families that start collecting an inheritance or trust fund as soon as they turn 18? Are we going to tell them to not accept that money until they've gone to school and matured or whatever people think they need to do before they actually get money? Or is it only kids who don't come from rich families that should be turning down huge sums of cash because they "won't be able to handle it"?
