Is there any coach that could win championships at Miami?

Great, but that is not the requirement at Miami. A different skill set is required.
So developing players, being able to win with limited resources, and being a winner bc that's all he has ever done is not the skillset you are looking for. Got it.

I think his skillset fits Miami especially being able to win with limited resources bc Miami isn't pumping the money into it's program like Clemson and Alabama etc. So the next coach needs to be able to get the most out of the limited resources we have.

You have no idea what it takes to be the face of a P5 program.

Developing players - We need someone to take elite talent and put it up against other elite talent. This guy takes 2-stars and beats 2-stars and bad opposing coaching.

Being able to win - Winning at some level doesn't mean you can win at any level. Otherwise, let's bring in Bill Castle.

Limited resources - He is playing against other teams that have limited resources as well. He's not trying to outrecruit and outcoach Clemson and Florida.

If Manny was fired today and we replaced him with the best coach in America, it'd take him at least 6 years to win a national championship.

See you in 2025 everybody.

Coaches that would win at Miami

1. Mike Leech - Has proven every where he has been he can win 10 or more games
2. Dabo - would set the world on fire at UM

Not Sure (Only Because I am not sure they can rebuild a team) Rebuilding a team is a bit different)

1. Lincoln Riley- Never had to rebuild a team so not sure how it would work out
2. Urban Meyer - Always been in a situation where the talent level was there to succeed

First you are making a lot of bad assumptions. He's won at every level. Second, he's in the same conference as Butch and Lane and has actually won it. You know guys that have been P5 and recruited against the big boys. Yet He's the one winning the conference. He's the type of coach that will take his guys and beat your guys and then turnaround take your guys and beat his guys with them. Third, UAB has less resources than pretty much every team in their conference hence one of the reasons they were shut down for two years.

Sorry, but FIU and FAU aren't swimming in resources. He's a good coach who takes unrecruited players and beats other teams who have unrecruited players. It's a nice story.

Bill Mutha fckin Clarke.

Undoubtedly he would struggle his 1st yr just coming to a bigger conference, but I believe he would have us humming by yr 3 fa sho, w marked improvements by yr 2. Big Bill Clarke fan.
My guy Mike Gundy sure could.

Really? There was talent at Utah & Bowling Green?

Can't beat a Baylor team, at home, that practically got shut down, despite having every resource possible, but he can win titles somewhere else.
Yep. Just like Jimmy. I think he'd be a total hit at Miami. He's got personality, he develops, he's got a track record. As with anyone the success is in the staff hires though.

Never said they were swimming with resources, but they sure have a ton more than UAB. And it's more than a nice story. It's a guy who has proven he wins at every level regardless of the situation.

It seems you have a bias against G5 coaches. If they haven't done it on the P5 level then you seem to exclude them. So no satterfield before he took over Louisville, no Meyer before he took over Florida. If that's your stance that's fine but you are limiting yourself and excluding some excellent coaches.
