i keep telling myself, "they won 15 games" ... in a row ...

but styles make fights and they have a style that we match up with awfully well ... they lack the size needed on their defensive line ... they have good skill positions, not game changing ... their linebackers are active but smaller, which plays into the hands of our double team block scheme ...

then there's mendoza ... he's the heisman, overall #1 pick ... but for some reason i'm confident we can "contain" him ... it's crazy

I am very confident. I think we punch them in the mouth and they can’t handle it.

I’ll tell you how I feel on Sunday

I said before in another thread that I felt very uncomfortable heading into the Louisville and not so good going into the SMU games. We know how those turned out so need to bring that up. Every since the Pitt game and afterword, I felt Miami would win, maybe not comfortably but I still felt they could and should win. I feel the same way about the title game. Miami should win and I feel they will.

no, take a look at PSU vs. Indiana PSU had them beat. OSU 13-10 neutral field
Iowa gave them everything they wanted and more. key is again OL /DL line vs Indiana
were better than the 3 teams listed above we can beat them 7.5 is a gift

i have ... multiple times ... we are the type of team that has given them trouble ... to be honest they should have loss to ohio state and it took an all time great catch against penn state ... i mean that could happen, but i just don't see it, yet guys that get paid big money say indiana is the ****

I was less confident at the Fiesta. Being the favored, third week on the road, and honestly we all had less juice in that stadium. Rested, massive underdog in our city…let’s go!

Maybe I’m underestimating them because it’s Indiana, but truthfully I would be much less confident if we were playing Ohio State. We vastly out talent IU in the “jimmy’s and Joe’s” dept. their advantage is being exceptionally disciplined. But if Miami plays a clean game (I think we will), our athletes are better than their athletes.

I am confident the Canes are capable of beating any college team in the country
Remember when a lot of people thought Miami was the best team in the country? They let two losses cloud their judgement. Miami is the best team in the country, and without those two close losses, we'd be the favorite going into this game. Indiana got lucky against Penn State, or they'd have an Alabama/FSU type loss on their schedule. They got lucky against Ohio State with their kicker missing a chip shot. The Iowa game could have been a loss.

I have always felt too much was put on purely Ws and Ls. A bounce here or there and we win both of those games. A bounce here or there and they lose a couple as well. We're talking one possession losses, and wins. It does not make one team far superior just because they got a little extra lucky, while the other had ACC officials ******** them.

We are the better team. Just because they beat down some bad teams doesn't mean they will beat us down. We have played a tougher schedule, and certainly have been more battle tested in the playoffs. We are ready.
