Is an OC being pursued?

Simple Simon " mack " says it has to be the A.D., DEEP POCKET boosters and former Hurricane football players and all that. In other words, these major dudes are fed up with the offense and what not. And get rid of that Johnny Rebel good ol' boy too! That's Coach Searles.

Well I don't care where he's from, I live in Tennessee. But you can't even face the camera when you ask for money to go to football games? I'd give anything to go see Miami play at home, but I'll be damned if I ask for a hand out to do so. Much less put sunglasses on to hide tears in my eyes. Pwusseh
 
i heard from people that the people who matter around the program believe richt will be fine on offense once he has a qb and better ol. maybe some others can verify.

Jesus Christo, you're some dumb m'fers if you think there's any talk with Richt and company during the middle of the season about the OC'er position. You really are clueless as **** if you believe some of the bs people are trying to pass around. I'm often surprised at the stupidity on here, then it goes next level. This is beyond that.

While searching for this new offensive coordinator Richt has put a huge restriction on Weldon and Perrys partying. They now have to party together and keep each other out of trouble

Even if we get a new OC, it won't do any good for this year. What is a new OC going to do? He or She will have a whole new scheme and playbook. You are not going to introduce a new scheme mid season. Maybe add a new wrinkle here and there. That's it for 2018. Also, a new OC won't know jack about the current plays or the or players capable of executing the existing offense let alone something new.

Unless Richt will demand that the new OC learn and use the existing playbook. You will have the entire QB room and offense learning a new scheme and playbook. Therefore, you can write off the 2019 season because it will take a full season to execute a new scheme and plays including offensive line blocking schemes at a high level.

It's an equal opportunity sport. I believe one of the NFL teams has a woman coach on staff. I don't want to exclude anyone at this point. Perhaps a female OC would be more creative, but that would be a stereotypical comment.
