Tears Irish Tears

Let’s be real about this ****. That team is loaded and they’re likely going to be top five for a reason. Discounting their talent level would be silly.
But some of those same people are discounting to a degree because they will still have Miami ranked top 10, given the talent level that Miami has and what happened to this entire culture at the end of last season, despite roster turnover.

The more Notre Dame keeps popping up in timelines, or articles about their revenge tour, the more one thing keeps coming back into my head
Keionte Scott, Bain and others have said, "there is too much talking on the net." They literally have not stopped crying, even if cloaked under season preview content. This whole revenge tour, like it’s against the playoff committee, a third of which turns over every year, and as if this wasn’t in their own hands by losing two games last year, is really not a revenge tour.

It’s about November 7 against Miami

A few weeks ago, when I was trying to think realistically, how do I think that game goes? I was on the side of I really don’t know. It’s gonna be one of the toughest games of the entire season for any two teams. There’s a reason why it’s listed as the number one or number two game for the upcoming season, usually with Ohio State and Texas

Contrast them, though, to Mario. Let alone a team that we don’t hear **** from on this matter of the upcoming season until media days, and those will be canned responses. I think they’re setting themselves up to lose in their home stadium and I say that as somebody who’s gone to a few games against Notre Dame in that stadium, and it did not end well.

But they won’t shut the **** up. Their tears could end droughts.

They are a major reason why Miami got called the most racist **** possible, like thugs and worse, way back when
They are the reason, after years, we literally had to own the word convict because it was better than being labeled it and having to be connected to that every single ******* day, as the so-called catholic team had some pretty unsavory people on it but were so "innocent".

When I say, I ******* hate that university, I mean, I hate that ******* university. It’s a different level of heat or even just rival intensity than the Gators, and certainly even for FSU for me. None of the things that those guys have done in the rivalry labeled an entire university for a generation in the media, while being the biggest pieces of **** hypocrites known to man.

I hope touchdown Jesus turns around and squats, then takes a big dump on them with Miami by his side on November 7.

I hope we play loose and the team has fun out there and blows them out in the process. In reality the outcome of this game has no effect on our chances to make the CFP while for them it's their whole season. And as always F Notre Dame.

It’s important to remember that the rest of you young ones who didn’t learn until recently how much you should hate this ******* team need to practice hating them more

I have 10 doctorates in hating that ******* school

Me too! TEN!

And Ohio State? NINE!

The pups here just don't get it.

I was watching Locked On Canes and Dono mentioned we will play ND three times at their place, starting next season. Is this true and how can they schedule 3 games, 3 seasons in a row with us going to their place?
I hope this is not true.
Was only supposed to be two times however a sequencing issue happened as we moved to 9-game conference schedules, USF had more schools join its conference, and needing to play an away game with USF to fulfill our agreement.

We would go on to cancel our home & home games w/ South Carolina (26/27) while keeping our game against Utah (27) the following year. We now have one OOC spot open for next season
The Miami Hurricanes and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish have rescheduled their football game in 2024 for the 2026 season, Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald has reported.

Miami was previously scheduled to travel to take on Notre Dame at Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Ind., during the 2024 season. Per the report, the Hurricanes will now make that trip two seasons later on a date to be determined in the fall of 2026.

The game was likely rescheduled in concert with a move made earlier this year by the USF Bulls. Miami was previously scheduled to visit USF in 2027, but the Bulls announced in February that the game was rescheduled for Sept. 21, 2024.

That move gave Miami five non-conference games in 2024, one over the limit………Miami and Notre Dame are next scheduled to play at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla., during the 2025 season. Other future games are tentatively scheduled for South Bend in 2028, 2031, and 2037 and in Miami Gardens in 2032 and 2034.

Original schedule was released in 2017

We ended up playing notre dame in a bowl game in December 2010 with Jeff stoutland as the interim head coach, however, we announced a 3 game series with them in July 2010. The bowl game was the first time we played them in 20 years. Catholics v Convicts film would be released in 2016

We played in Chicago, “neutral territory,” in 2012 then had a home and home in 2016 and 2017. Went 1-2.

The series will open with a neutral site game at Soldier Field in Chicago on Saturday, Oct. 6, 2012. Game two of the series is scheduled for four years later, with the Hurricanes traveling to South Bend, Ind. to face the Fighting Irish on Saturday, Oct. 8, 2016 at Notre Dame Stadium. The final game of the contract will be played at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens, Fla. on Saturday, Nov. 25, 2017.

“I am excited to announce that the University of Miami has renewed its historic football rivalry with the University of Notre Dame,” University of Miami Director of Athletics Kirby Hocutt said. “Not only is it an outstanding opportunity for both programs, but it is great for the sport of college football.”

Both agreements gave notre dame an edge (+1) considering Chicago was basically a home game for them then the 2nd agreement was 3 miami home games and Notre dame gets 4 home games. Wasn’t supposed to be 3 away in a row but the deals were made pre-realignment

I can’t wait to beat these goofies in their own house. Baby Jesus hitting the heisman pose after going for 200 yards 2TDs in the shadow of their Jesus overlooking the stadium will be glorious.
I had a dream this summer that we beat them 62-7. Mario had the 3rd team in and they were still running up the score.

Best dream ever.

Didn’t watch the game but looking at the box score, only 3.7 yards a carry on 32 carries (with no sacks allowed skewing the stats) seems pretty pathetic against Rice at home.
