In fact, those who sign up for the app will be included in a group chat (new feature) where I'll answer spring practice Q and As with exclusive, non-media info.

Some specific features of the app include:

- LIVE Thread Mode, which is designed for busy threads like Gameday and commitment threads. This feature allows users to set threads to LIVE, which means it refreshes automatically every few seconds with the most recent post on top.

- Improved DM function which is more like a text or group chat.

- More streamlined, less obtrusive ads (no ads to start)

- Integration of daily podcasts with website so both are easily accessible and updated.

- Improved push notifications.

- Ability to post pics straight from your phone with no long uploading process.

What’s up Canes fam!!!! Looking forward to using the new app as I follow my Canes this season! I’m a lifelong Canes fan living in the Queen City of Charlotte North Carolina! Looking forward to meeting Pete and D$ when we finally win the ACC Championship game here!

We have it auto reloading right now but we can change that back to keep you where you were or make it a setting for either or. Keep the feedback coming! We’re gonna be continuously polishing the app for everyone.

App is awesome. I would say having threads pickup up where you left off is critical. Specifically thinking Gator and Nole Tears where stuff can happen fast and you don’t want to miss pages of new threads with live mode or have to figure out the exact page you were on out of thousands of pages.

The other thing is can you add the label colors like the browser? At least what I’m seeing, all the thread labels are green (I’m in dark mode). When I browse quickly I’m looking for that bright blue Tears label, etc.

That’s my main feedback. Otherwise great job!

Dark mode is goat
 
App looks awesome. Just need :
1) way to identify threads you have read (maybe I just missed it)
2) when someone shares a post from another thread , it doesn't directly show the post in the app. You have to leave the current thread to see it in the original thread. Lindend does this all the time.

People sharing X videos loads so much better for me than the mobile version of the site. That’s ******* huge

I watched the introductory video and I still can't figure out how to change the background from dark mode to light mode on my Samsung Galaxy phone. Can you advise me how to change it?

this is actually in the app currently! If you go to one of those threads and peruse around and then leave the thread by pressing the back button, when you next return you should be on the same post/page you were previously on when pressing the back button.

it's a bit subtle, so we can think on this more but the title will be non-bold on the thread, unless more people have since commented on it.

If you go to settings by pressing the gear button in your profile page, notifcations page, or the dm page you should see a switch at the top that says "Dark Mode". just toggle that.

🤔 hmm we'll have to think through how we can do this. Not the lowest hanging fruit but certainly something we'll work on.

if you long press the thumb/react button it brings up a few more but its certainly limited compared to the web app still
