Is there a Chonga section?

I legit thought I was already using an "app" this entire time. I guess I just had the mobile version of the site saved on my Home Screen.

Not sure if this is more of an iOS setting, but is there a way for Twitter links to open in the built in browser by default instead of trying to open the app? Or even just watch videos directly from the thread?
this is actually in the app currently! If you go to one of those threads and peruse around and then leave the thread by pressing the back button, when you next return you should be on the same post/page you were previously on when pressing the back button.
we'll add this to the list!
it's a bit subtle, so we can think on this more but the title will be non-bold on the thread, unless more people have since commented on it.
If you go to settings by pressing the gear button in your profile page, notifcations page, or the dm page you should see a switch at the top that says "Dark Mode". just toggle that.

if you long press the thumb/react button it brings up a few more but its certainly limited compared to the web app still

We can’t do inline playing of tweets unfortunately because of the way we load them. It was incredibly difficult to get a smooth scroll with the quantity of tweets in CIS and the indeterminate heights they can have so we’re actually loading them in the background and taking a picture and showing that (kind of an oversimplification). Then if you click it goes to the tweet in the x app if you have it or opens in the built in browser.
It’s good feedback and if we should rethink our solution I’m not opposed to it to improve the ux.

Yeah I think we can work with this. Im imagining a deeper settings page for things like this that a user can configure

At minimum you should be able to pin and choose whatever you want to appear at the top instead of having forums/podcasts/articles/watched at the top...
