Interview with Rob Likens

Enos definitely thought he was smarter than everyone. Richt was just set in his dinosaur ways.
I think he just thought his Offense would work no matter the personnel. Bad OCs force there scheme on a Offense, Good OCs adjust there scheme to fit the talent.

Don't let the Pope haters hear that though, they're convinced that because he didn't play in the Enox Central Michigan express that means he can't play...

As I've been saying for months, I'm not letting most of the people on this board on the bandwagon when the season starts & he's out there ballin', those spent all offseason hating on that boy better keep that same energy when the season rolls around.
Ya I've been saying this! Compare Enos #s to Lashlees Las TV year at SMU! We got talent that offence was horrible an hard to gain confidence once Pope and Wiggins start getting 10 passes a game thrown at then that confidence is going to build! Tou cant deny there abilities! When I saw Wiggins smoke FSU defence I knew he was the real deal! Pope just didnt fit in a pro style offence! But this year Wiggins,Pope, Jordan and Mallory should ball out Harley will be a nice piece an hes older. Peyton, Redding should ball out an K Smith was ballin in practice. Restpredo is a hard working kid hes gonna be baller! Were good! We've been needed this to happen I remember around 05 when alot of teams were switching to spread how we needed to make that move! Were in the hot spot for skill players! Cam Harris gonna ball out this year too an he has 2 bad *** freshman behind him! Were about to go from 90th-100th to top 5-10 in the country as far as plays being ran with south Florida talent cant nobody tell me we shouldn't be dropping 50 a game. We've missed alot on recruits on D a couple 10 win seasons and were back! Nobody ****** with us that's how I feel. Manny made the move to a Air Raid/Spread an we've been needed to make that move now that we have I feel very comfortable saying Were Back! We have plenty of talent it was being used the wrong way anyone with common sense could see that!

Simplicity is the heart of air raid. Embrace it. (Doesn’t mean running four verts and inside zone with a bubble every play)
This. Some people will here simple and think it’s the plays are simple and predictable. The plays and their concepts can be very complexed but what you’re asking the players to do remains simple. Think less, react more.

Pope and them boys are going to eat this season. All of those “we don’t have enough talent at WR” cats will hush up soon enough.

I can’t emphasize it enough, the change in offense is going to be like a breath of wonderfully fresh air when you’ve been used to living in and inhaling a pigsty for 15 years.

Mark Pope might fuggg around and remind folks why he was so highly coveted and how pumped we were to land him...

Him and mike Harley are gonna have big time year’s

With all due respect these takes make no sense. If Lashlee and Likens do what we expect, Manny won't be failing.

Cause the only reason Manny failed last year was cause of the offense? Had nothing to do with gameday coaching, getting your team prepared, leadership issues etc. I get your point but Lashlee and Likens can show that their good coaches and Manny can still lose his job.

I want Manny to succeed tho. I think we have the perfect recipe to beat Clemson this year.

Rewatch that LOSERville game and you can just tell Harley in this spread offense is just gonna eat(Pope as well)
That game had a confidence to it from the opening kick. You just knew they would win. Same as ND in 2017 and a few others. There was no tentativeness. That was common back in the early 90's, but it's been hit or miss since about 04.

I put myself through a re-watch of almost all the games last season. Watching FIU after Louisville is still as confusing as I remember it. Brought back that disgusting Marlins Stadium feel, too.

I've rewatched Louisville and FSU. I can't bring myself to watch those others. It's like they were completely bipolar.

This is something that has been talked about for yearsssss here when pro style bros just wouldnt get it. Its a philosophy fundamental/foundational belief to spread but air raid guys really emphasis it. You will have interviews from 10-15 years ago of guys saying they can do their base install in one practice! What makes it even crazier is the efficiency and how much points they were able to produce with lesser players.

So easier to install, easier for players to learn, fun to play in, easier to execute and play fast, **** on DCs and defensive players, lesser talent can still get higher production and put more points on the board and still guys knocked it while banging their head trying to get qbs to make nfl reads and needing nfl players at every position to execute and still not get these results.

I am almost positive Lashlee and Likens looked at UM record books and laughed at it like MJ looking at Ipad meme.. Was a fight for the ages and we were last team to bandwagon (mind you guys like Saban and LSU who were able to stockpile NFL talent saw light even with highend success they achieved more recently that us)

Better late than never, its a good day. Excited to see this finally at miami

Add familiarity in as well because most, if not all of these kids, played in similar offenses in High School, and it's a slam dunk.
